Precioso lugar en la montaña

No busques más. Quédate aquí, es un lugar increíble, no solo por el entorno, sino porque el alojamiento tiene todo lo que vas a necesitar para estar a gusto. No está en el pueblo mismo sino algo más arriba, en las montañas, pero lo suficientemente cerca para ir caminando al pueblo y al inicio de las rutas. Si vas a hacer la ruta Teth - Valbona ten en cuenta que se añaden 4km a tu recorrido. El personal es muy atento y te ayuda en todo lo necesario. Por favor, no dudes en cenar aquí! La cena es increíble, muy abundante, rica y económica, todo con producto local. El desayuno también está muy bien, ideal para aguantar el día de caminatas. Las habitaciones son cómodas y funcionales, además de limpias. Es importante que lleves efectivo, euros o leks, ya que no hay cajeros en Teth y no admite pago con tarjetas.

No hay nada que no nos gustara. Sin duda un sitio al que volver.

Sehr herzliche und freundliche Gastgeber. Das Essen war hervorragend.

Leider gab es zeitweise weder Strom noch warmes Wasser.

Amazing house, with even better hosts and the best food.

The property is beautifully located surrounded by mountains. The hosts (a family) are incredibly welcoming and kind and they seem so happy even though they’re working hard every day. Please try the dinner there it is SO good! We also loved the breakfast and the packed lunch option (which is affordable for the amount of food your getting). It isn’t in the center of Theth but perfectly located if you want to hike from Theth to Valbona or the other way around. We would 1000% staying here. They have a beautiful garden to relax after a hike, cute cats plus you can refill your water bottles there, which is a huge plus. You can pay in Euro as well as in Lek. Most likely the hosts would try to make anything possible for you so :))

Not a big thing but we would’ve appreciated a few more sockets in our rooms, maybe a junction box could solve that issue.

A little bit of heaven. Basic but clean rooms. Spotless shared toilet and shower. Amazing breakfast and dinner (if you choose to eat there) Very discreet and friendly owners. Good base for the major walks in the area Views out of this world. Perfect for the simple things in life

An additional socket and lamp (rather than just the main light) would be good especially in a family room, as this meant we all had to go to sleep at the same time.

Excellent guest house with very helpful manager and lovely food.

The owner is really helpful, able to answer practical questions about hiking in the mountains. The food is excellent, especially the great dinner. And there's some wonderful views up the valley also.

The room is quite small, especially the adjoining bathroom with a wet room shower installed.

Stunning views in guest rooms of a super hospitable family!

The rooms, service, food and general vibes were great! The family, especially the young man that is the primary contact point, were very hospitable, always doing their best to facilitate our stay! Would also highly recommend the food, the dairy products (milk, butter, yoghurt, cheese) come from the cow on site, and the rest seems very local as well! They also have two adorable cats, one of which easily makes friends with humans.

It is far away from the start of the trails, so count with a 30 min walk extra or a quick car ride extra each way.

Quiet place with wonderful view and great food

Nice and quiet place, 30 minutes walking from the town center/supermarket. Plenty of space for parking, and even though the last few meters are not an asphalt road it is still ok for small economy cars. The rooms are small but clean and warm. Internet was available but we didn't use it. The dinner they prepared for us was one of the best we had!

The hot water in the shower could be hotter.

It is run by a small cute family. We liked their hospitality. The garden was very beautiful with mesmerizing views of mountains and swings and hammock to relax on. Everything is very fresh and it is accessible from the main road. If you have a car and wants to park, they have plenty of parking space. At first, we struggled to find the way from main road but it is easy: if you are coming from schkoder, look for second sign board that says Bujtina Terthorja and take left from there as that way is easier to drive through, After taking left, look for a wastebin on the right that says Bujtina Terthorja! You may also call them if you get stuck.

Sometimes, hot water was not available. Theth has electricity issues (voltage issues). Dinner is a bit expensive but thats your choice. It would have been nicer if they have equipped the room with more amenities.

This place has a great view on the mountains. Additionally, the Owners are very helpful and carrying. We extended the offer with breakfasts and dinners, which we really recommend. The food is natural and delicious, hence I wish it could be possible to arrange a catering to my country😉

Best inn in town!

The food was absolutely amazing and servings were so generous. The family that runs the Bujtina was very nice and welcoming. Bed was comfy and plenty of hot water. Of the three inns we stayed in in Albania, this was hands down the best! also great views! and excellent WiFi. AND the most adorable & snuggly barn cat:)

The most amazing dinners and breakfasts. My partner is vegetarian and he had some amazing dishes. So much care and effort put in to the food. Such a kind family. The location is outstanding. The care and hospitality is excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better trip and will always remember this amazing experience. Thank you to the hosts, we had a brilliant time and you do an outstanding job.

Very nice place of a very polite family. Breakfast was 6€, Dinner 12€. Very large portions with traditionel self made food of high quality. Can only advise you to eat it. Not quiet in the center of Theth(2km down to the village) but very managabel if you want to hike anyway. Couldn't have imagined 2 better nights.

Outstanding hospitality

Fabulous family, you get to see family life on an Albanian mountain in full swing. The room is basic with limited hot water (it had ran out when we wanted to shower), but that could have been because the electricity kept going off in the village. We had dinner and breakfast in their dining room/ summer house which was gorgeous the log burner was lit and the food was outstanding, don’t eat anywhere else, you won’t find the same quality. It was a lovely lovely experience with a great vibe from all the other hikers. We will definitely be staying again.

Cute Guesthouse with a beautiful view

Bujtina Terthorja is a very cute guesthouse with a beautiful view of Teth valley. Staff is very friendly. Food - breakfast and dinner - is delicious and plenty. There is an oven in the dining area to keep you warm in autumn, as well as a heater in the room. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend the place :)
