The area and the hotel were great. A beautiful countryside area to explore.
THE STAIRS !!! When booking it would have been nice if they would have mentioned that the room was on the top floor, and that a set of LONG & STEEP stairs had to be climbed. Bad knees and a bad heart made it a scary climb.. especially with luggage Had my wife and I known this we would not have booked a room here.
Note: We had supper at the restaurant. It was mediocre at best, and my ravioli was some of the worst pasta I have ever had. Was dry, chewy, and tough.... The cooks in the kitchen should taste/review what they are serving.

Beautiful location, freshly upgraded rooms which were cosy and well done. The best shower i have had in quite a while and the first time I was able to sleep immediately in a hotel.
Breakfast can be a few euros cheaper for what you are getting, but groceries are expensive so i get it

Room was a very new room in an annex across the road. Felt very safe and secure.
Room was very clean and pleasant.
Dinner was very good - tasty food.
Parking was available - not plentiful at hotel, but I managed to find a space without having to use the public car park.
Evening meal seemed limited to a full a la carte menu. I'd have sufficed with a more of a snack meal but not sure that this was available. The evening meal was very good though.

Beautiful location and amazing surroundings, very picturesque. Rooms were clean and cosy, nice bedlinnen and nice soaps. Enough space outside on terace, sun or shade. Beers were very nice, all from the local brewery. Staff is friendly.
Breakfast was punchy and not included, but buffet was not outstanding or exceptional. We had two single beds that were not attached and constantly moving apart. The towels were a bit thin (old?). We had dinner outside and first of all the portions are huge. We couldn’t finish it all which is a shame because it is all thrown out. Besides that the quality could be much better. The asapargus were very cooked through and soft and not very nice. The prices are quite high for meals without extras like fries or side salad.
So we suggest to go for quality instead of quantity.
