Very good central location, short walk from both stations.

The location, close to ferry and train station was very good.
The shower room was lovely.
The friendly and helpful female receptionist on the Monday I checked out.
The low ceiling. The window blind that I couldn't reach to open or close. Staff provided a stool which should not have been necessary. I think something had broken in the window frame because there was a chain hanging down that appeared to have come loose.
When I entered the room the blind was closed and the room was pitch black. It was scary!
I couldn't get the Aircon to stay on all night. Every time I woke up it had stopped and the room was uncomfortably hot. The next day it wouldn't go off!!
The reception was on the first floor and the lift was only big enough for possibly 3 people with luggage. So there were always someone waiting for the lift.
The Sunday male receptionist was not at all empathetic to my problem reaching the blind and wanting to change rooms. His explanation that I should have known that an attic room would be like this was patronising. He did get staff to try to help but his attitude was intimidating for me.
