Perfect location for travelling around Como lake

1. perfect location - 10min walk from train station and 10min walk from ferry terminal 2. Nice and friendly staff 3. Very quiet location because there are no streets with cars around 4. Many restaurants around

Idealer Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Stadt Como

Das Hotel ist sehr schön an einem großen öffentlichen Platz mit vielen Restaurants gelegen, gut zu Fuß vom Bahnhof St. Giovanni zu erreichen und ideal als Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Stadt. Mein Zimmer war schlicht, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut geeignet, um nach den vielen Eindrücken des Tages am Abend zu entspannen. Dazu trug auch das bequeme breite Bett bei. Einzig der Blick auf den Innenhof war nicht sooo toll, aber vom Bett aus hat man sowieso eher ein Stück Himmel gesehen, da das Zimmer in der 3. Etage lag.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt an der Piazza Volta, wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer zum Innenhof. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das nächste Parkhaus, Centro Lago, ist circa 300 m weit weg, was wir aber vorher wussten und uns mit Rollkoffer aber nicht gestört hat.

Stayed here 21 years ago and would stay again. Perfect location. We came by train and it very easy to find from the trai

Great location with a multitude of restaurnts in the square below. Only one block back from the lake. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet and the property had a lift. Very friendly staff.

Bathroom tends to get a bit wet with no door on the shower cubicle but otherwise everything was great.

Fantastic location!

Location was superb! It was an 8 min walk from the train station. Restaurants and coffee shops close by. Beds were comfortable and bathroom a decent size.

Well-situated with all facilities you could want, and great staff who were very helpful.

We have a room with plenty of space and nice view over the piazza. It was quiet though. Breakfast was a surprise - very reasonable price, and you didn't have to book ahead, just sit down and pay later.

Had a good experience, liked the city and will go back again and stay at this hotel.

Very convenient from train station, ferry and night life. Friendly staff both front and cleanup crew. Lively and fun piazza and beautiful shops around.

Small elevator and narrow stairs which is understandable considering it’s an old building. Poor Wi-Fi connection in bedroom floors.

Sadly,the only positive aspect of this property is the location

Everything except the location.We were locked out of our room on 2 occasions due to keycard failure.At the time of booking it was confirmed that there will be a kettle to boil water in the room which the property did not honour. Sadly, we cannot recommend this property.

I would recommend this hotel 100% to other tourists.

The warmth welcome from the receptionist , the location , breakfast and also the lady who serves the breakfast , she's very helpful and polite , also they have a partnership with Lago carpark which is 5mins walk from the hotel and is very convenient.

We will definitely stay again at this nice hotel!

The location is excellent and pedestrian. Easy check in and room had plenty of space with large bathroom and comfortable beds and bedding. Mini fridge was nice as was safe. wonderful breakfast!

At first it was very hot in room as it is January the heat was on. We turned off the heat and opened the window and it was perfect!

The location is excellent …. You can explore and return to the hotel to drop off shopping or charge your phone all easily. The single room is small but has everything you need including a bar fridge which was useful.

The newly renovated bathroom has a shower head that has been attached the wrong way around … very annoying as could not stand under I jet of water that flowed down instead of sideways.
