About this condo rental
Situated in Avon, this charming condo for $182 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Sitting on the west and east sides of a well-maintained condominium, our rental offers scenic views of the canal and landscaped backyard. We take very good care of the property, seeking to give our guests the best of both a home and a hotel. Either on the unit’s east or west decks, the pristine beach, or by the pool, there is plenty of space to enjoy the sun in an area surrounded by nature. Irida II is based on a theme. In recognition of the very long and storied maritime history of the Outer Banks, we created three rooms of photography – in effect three galleries – that tell a story of nature and the human desire to sail. We are sailors, and we have been blessed for years to experience the incredible gifts of nature the Outer Banks provides. It is our pleasure to attempt to share our world through our eyes. Grocery shopping and numerous restaurants are all within a five-minute drive, and Ocean Air Sports – a leading watersports center on the outer banks – is next door. This area is one of the most popular kiteboarding and windsurfing locations on the entire east coast, and it is equally known for its fishing. A beautiful canal gives access to Pamlico Sound, or public access to the ocean beach is only a ten-minute walk away. Given the Outer Banks, concentration of federal and state protected lands, there is ample opportunity for nature-based recreation, and its history is legendary. Our unit is one level and is located on the first floor, making for easier accommodation than most places in the Outer Banks. The unit has a full kitchen, and two full bathrooms. Cable television and internet are included, as well as access to the pool. A ground level storage unit is included, and is suitable for storing windsurfing, surfing, paddle boards, or kiteboarding equipment. The unit can hold two bicycles. For your convenience, all linens, paper products, cleaning supplies, and personal care soaps are provided. We are proud to select the healthiest products on the market.

I had a wonderful long week-end stay at this apartment right next to Ocean Air and very close to Pamlico Sound, perfect for kitesurfing excursions and enjoying Avon! Wonderful host, and a very clean and charming apartment. I loved the windsurfing and kitesurfing pictures;-)

Our family stayed Sunday thru Friday. It was nice and relaxing. We had to pool to ourselves most of the week. On the northern edge of Avon so everything you need is a short drive away. The condo was nice and we had no issues.

I chose this condo because it is centrally located on Hatteras. Spacious for the two of us, very clean, great communication with the host. Eco-friendly technology for lighting, fans, and a/c was impressive. I would definitely book this again…highly recommend.

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we depended strictly on previous reviews as to location and convenience to everything as we booked our stay. We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival! The condo is well kept and incredibly clean…which is a MUST for me. The location was great! The condo is very energy efficient and we liked the fans so much, we’re replacing the ones in our own home. We had a delightful stay and we’ll return next year. Thank you so very much!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect where the beach was walking distance and stores were a quick drive away. We had to go to the store several times to get essentials that we normally would expect at a place (ie. dish soap, detergent, sponge, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, etc.) We also expected the washer/dryer to be in the unit instead of a communal one. The description did not indicate this. If we were to return again, we would make sure to stay in an above ground unit. The neighbors above us were pretty loud starting at 6:00 am- 12:00 midnight.

We checked in the Condo right after the check in time. It was already freshly cleaned with fresh towels and sheets. We spent a lot of time at the pool, which was very close to the condo. We enjoyed our stay!

This was our first trip to the outer banks and we could not have asked for a better place to stay..The owners were extremely helpful before we even got there. As we were packing to leave we started planning for next year.

My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was terrific close enough to the beach but great views of the bay and kite surfers. The pool was also a treat for my son when he was tired of the beach. My only critique is the master bedroom mattress was really loud and squeeked whenever me or my wife moved. Otherwise a very pleasant stay!

This was our first stay in Avon having stayed In northern OBX communities previously. What an idyllic and peaceful area, definitely our favorite beaches so far, and Ocracoke was a great and easy to access day trip.
The home itself was modern, well thought out and very clean. Our kids loved being able to go easily between the beach and pool.
Highly recommend and concur with all the other 5 star reviews.

Wonderful Condo!
Lovely place. Great location with many restaurants near by. Two outdoor sitting areas so you can choose the sun or the shade. Beautiful views of the sunset. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It is a great family friendly location that is close to most attractions in Outer Banks. We, a family of 4 had a very comfortable stay. Few things to highlight are the very comfortable beddings, kitchen with all cookwares and utensils, well furnished, very clean and nice looking rooms, balcony with nice view, 1st floor. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Experience
This was my first time to stay in a condo and visit the ocean. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The condo was clean and comfortable. We were a short walk from the ocean. We can't wait to come back!

It is a great family friendly location that is close to most attractions in Outer Banks. We, a family of 4 had a very comfortable stay. Great spot for a family vacation!
This was our 1st family vacation with our 2 girls and their 1st time seeing the ocean. We loved our home away from home, especially having breakfast on the balcony. Easy to book and communication was always clear and owners were available if needed. Very easy process too!

Small Beach Town Feel
Avon had a small beach town feel, but easy access to restaurants and groceries. The condo was in a good location, clean, updated, and we loved the art work. The owners were extremely helpful before and during our stay!

100% well thought out energy saving devices and comfortable rooms, beds, space, balcony, and clearly communicated instructions by owners. On first level. 2 minute walk to the beach, for real. Balcony gives a peek at creek and soundside. Boat ramp less than 3 minutes away and harbor boat ramp access less than 10 minutes away.My only difficulty was figuring out the light switches, which have a dimmer feature - press and hold is the secret for those lights that can be adjusted in kitchen/over dining table. Excellent knife selection for cooking and nice cast iron skillets!***** well deserved
