We take very good care of the property, seeking to give our guests the best of both a home and a hotel. Whether on the unit’s southwest deck, the pristine beach, or by the pool, there is plenty of space to enjoy the sun in an area surrounded by nature. Grocery shopping and numerous restaurants are all within a five-minute drive, and Ocean Air Sports – a leading watersports center on the Outer Banks – is next door. This area is one of the most popular kiteboarding and windsurfing locations in the entire world, and it is equally renowned for its fishing. A beautiful canal gives access to Pamlico Sound, and public access to the ocean beach is only a ten-minute walk away. Given the Outer Banks’ concentration of federal and state protected lands, there are ample opportunities for nature-based recreation, and the area’s history is legendary. We provide all linens, towels, and products needed for your vacation, and are honored to bring our guests as healthy a vacation experience as possible. All soaps, detergents, and cleaners have been approved by the Environmental Working Group, and we provide 100% recycled paper products. We have installed the most advanced residential ceiling fans in the world, and have worked to optimize interior climate. We sincerely hope you appreciate our ethic of wanting to bring health to our planet and to people. Our interest in this unit is to tell a story about Outer Banks' nature. The art and natural elements exhibited in the dioramas are all local. A ground level storage unit is available, and is suitable for storing windsurfing, surfing, paddle boarding, or kiteboarding equipment. The unit can accommodate two bicycles. The property has a dock for launching watercraft such as kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards.

This is our second visit to this condo in the last 3 months! Great location - love the view of the sound with the proximity to the beach. Also enjoyed having a wonderful restaurant that we could easily walk to along with a little shopping. We will return!

Had a great stay at the property. Excellent location and walkable to some restaurants. Great views from the deck, would stay again! Great having the pool and a laundry room on site as well.

Nice area but extremely busy and crowded. Nice view from condo of the sound. Cleaning service did good job. We had upstairs neighbor who had residents constantly stomping and running with exception of the night. Recommend allowing guests to control unit temperature to their personal preferences. Temperature was either too cold or too warm. Also TV in Living Room difficult to control access to content. Not easy like Bedroom TV. Thanks for having us as your guests! Mark

Most relaxing vacay we’ve had in years. Kids (7 and 9) loved the location close to ice cream, the beach, and souvenir spots. Nice and quiet, plenty to do and beautiful property. Easy to check in, lovely place, comfy beds, super clean. Tedrowe and Marcia were super accommodating and friendly. It’s a highly recommended condo and we will be back!

Overall, very nice unit. A couple of things left behind from previous guests by housekeeping, which was disappointing. And we struggled with the Roku TV, but could've been just use. Unit has a nice view. Porch was enjoyable in the evenings and high enough up for a breeze to keep away the bugs. Lots of modern touches with the smart appliances, lighting, etc. Sufficient parking available. 3rd floor stairs can be a pain if you're hauling a lot of heavy stuff. Did not try the pool, but some other families with young children seemed to enjoy it. Noises from upstairs children running around definitely carried through the ceiling, if that kind of thing bothers you. Towels and linens were clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Master BR does fill with light early in the AM. Note: Restaurants close early in lower OBX and there is no night life. Be prepared to keep yourself entertained in the evenings.

The owners couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The condo is peaceful and attractive and has a lovely view of the water. It's close to shops and restaurants, but is set apart in a quiet area. It was a very nice place to stay.

We had a great stay in Avon. The house/condo was perfect for our family. The only issues we had were there weren't enough bath towels and wash cloths. We had to reuse our wash cloths for the Monday-Friday we were there. There are no kitchen towels to dry dishes as we washed them. And no control over the thermostat. We had decided to stay in later and just rest. But it got very warm. The thermostat went up to 79. Even opened the doors to try and get a breeze. We eventually called the property manager and she took care of it immediately. So even with these minor (very minor) issues, the property managers were easy to get a hold of and took care of it for us. The house was very comfortable and the views were so pretty. We loved sitting out on the deck, especially at night. The starts were so bright. If you get up before the sun you can watch it come up out of the small window by the bathroom. That was a welcome surprise. I would definitely recommend this home. We would stay here again if we come back.

If you can handle a couple of flights of stairs, this is a perfect place. Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. We would book this property again when in town for the Alternate Routes Getaway at the Koru Beach Klub 4 miles away.

We found the owners to be very friendly and accommodating. There was a small issue with the temperature settings in the condo. The issue was addressed promptly. The views spectacular! The pool was clean and quiet . We were 4 mins from the site of my son’s wedding. Very enjoyable stay!

We loved the apartment! Very clean. New things and lots of smart devices such as fantastic fans that are very efficient and also cost a lot! Loved the attention to being green and for sharing the brands used. Excellent OBX books available. I learned a lot about OBX while there.

We really loved our time in Avon! The property is as described, but could use a deep clean and a few updates (carpet and baseboards especially). We loved all the technology and the great patio. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We were a little worried about the walk to the beach but it was a quick easy walk (especially with renting a beach cart). The pool was nice and we loved the view of the sound.

Nicely cleaned property. Fresh (new) towels & sheets. A little difficulty with TV reception & tried open blind without success. Did bake a meal in oven . Would be upgrade to have New range. Nice location to bay & ocean!

We stopped here on our way home Myrtle Beach glad we did. The condo was very nice and was close to a lot of the things I like to do on vacation. We will have to come back and spend a week next time.

Property was in a nice location and clean. Some glitches in getting tv to work and had to bring our own sheets for sofabed if we didn't want to be charged more. Cleaning person was rude when we arrived at 3:15 after 6.5 hr drive. We had to wait outside in the heat until 4 pm.
