The staff were really nice and we liked the pool and spa facilities. The location was also good where we were able to walk to the old town everyday.

The hotel is perfectly situated near the old town and there's a 24 hour reception. For 45 euro a shuttle service can be provided and someone will be waiting for you at the airport.
We didn't get a decent sleep during our visit in this hotel. Above the ceiling (inside a grid in the ceiling) something was dripping two nights in a row. It drove us crazy. The more we focused on it, the worst it got. When I mentioned this to an employee he said they "would look into it". They never did anything..
The room was also on the side of the road. We could hear the traffic (buses, cars and trolleys) really well. When you combine this with the dripping sound and the fact that the beds didn't really have a mattress but rather a topper, you get a perfect recipe for a bad sleep.
I would also like to mention that the staff member checking us in wasn't very polite. When he wanted to sell us something (some sort of discount) and we politely turned down his offer, he acted snobby and patronizing towards us.
All things considered we don't understand why this hotel is consided to be a 4 star hotel. We would give it 2 stars.
