Though basic, the rooms were clean and bright. The staff at reception were courteous and helpful.
The location is good, just a 10-15min walk and you're into the areas most people will want to visit. There's also a number of good cafes nearby for breakfast.
We mistakenly got the impression this was a four star hotel, which it certainly isn't. It's a basic three star which is reflected in the cost. If you're booking this place for a luxury stay you're likely to be disappointed. But if you're looking for something affordable it's actually good value for money. But we were looking for a luxury stay so were quite disappointed.
Having said that there are a couple of things that could be improved:
The breakfast: despite the amount of overwhelmingly positive comments on the breakfast (!) we found it to be one of the worst we'd had in years. The food, whether cooked, fruit or cereal seemed cheap, but again quite 'three star'. I'm no snob about coffee machines but this coffee really really poor. And tellingly as we left the breakfast area I saw a number of almost full cups left on tables. Despite being booked for 8 nights we skipped the breakfast after one try. The variety of food on offer was good, but my advice would be reduce the variety and improve the quality.
The bed: I like a very firm bed but this thing was closer to a park bench. That feeling of hopping into a lush hotel bed with the 'luxury' feeling is not something you're getting here. And is probably the most clear indication of 'three star'. I woke with back pain most mornings. Each mattress has a cheap hard topper.

Very comfortable and clean. Close access to the Old Town. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff.
Not much to say.

It’s a good hotel just outside the centre of Tallin.
The breakfast was great and the gym is well equipped.

Breakfast quite nice, good beds, blinds, roomy (in the suite), smart tv
We booked a suite especially to get a separate bed space for our 2-year old (for him to be able to go to sleep earlier), but the room layout was different than in the pictures, and that didn’t work out. No parking space available for us, so had to pay extra 15€ for parking. Small details like: bathroom lights going on automatically (and staying on for a long time), which didn’t help keeping the room dark. Soap dispensers in completely random placements.
