The village is nice! The staff in general is very nice and also the food is sub par for a buffet.
The accommodation was really run down and dirty. When we asked to have it changed they said they couldn’t. The door wouldn’t look.

I just spent a week at VOI Tanka and had such a wonderful time that I’m already planning to return in September!
1. My accommodation was incredibly cozy, very spacious, and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping came every morning, and the upkeep was excellent.
2. The location couldn’t have been better—VOI Tanka has its own private beach and is just steps away from one of the most stunning beaches in the region. Truly breathtaking!
3. The food was fantastic, both in quality and variety. Dinner each night felt like a real treat, with plenty of delicious options to choose from.
4. I rented a bike for a few days, and the rental service was quick and friendly—very convenient and enjoyable! That said, I would have appreciated the option to rent a scooter as well, which would have made exploring the area even easier.
5. One downside was the gym access, which costs €5 per day. This felt unnecessary and out of place, as most resorts include gym access in the overall price. Additionally, the opening hours aren’t ideal for international guests—it should really open from 6 AM to allow for early workouts before breakfast and stay open until at least 10 PM. Early access in particular is essential.
6. The WiFi situation is also a drawback. Internet access is not available in most accommodations and is limited to a couple communal areas and select rooms. In this day and age, having full WiFi coverage throughout the resort should be standard, especially for international visitors. This definitely needs to be addressed.
Overall, despite a few improvements that could be made, my stay was absolutely lovely—and I can’t wait to be back in September!

- We loved the location, the crystal clear water and the white sand. The scenery is amazing.
- we appreciated how clean the room was, how the beds were impeccably made every day and how we would receive fresh towels daily.
- the food is different every day and quite good, but definitely Italian style.
- it was very helpful to be allowed to shower on our last day, many hours after we already checked out. They have a few complementary bathrooms that you can use before you leave to get changed
- the entire resort is well looked after and the landscaping is on point.
- the pool area is great with the water having a very comfortable temperature.
- the kiddy show in the evenings is a total hit for the little ones.
- the luggage is transported by the staff both at check in and check out in golf carts. We literally didn’t touch our luggage while we were there.
- good functioning AC system.
- the bed was huge (two single beds were seemingly united).
- there is no free source of drinkable water outside the restaurant. There is also no supermarket on site. You are left with buying drinkable water from the pharmacy at 2 € per liter. There are warning signs at the restaurant not to be filling your bottles from there.
- there is no internet in the rooms.
- there is limited hot water. Each room has its own boiler and once the hot water runs out, you must wait over an hour (in our case) before you can continue your shower.
- the room was outdated.
- limited window of time for breakfast and dinner. You have 2 hours and 15 minutes available and it gets very busy and chaotic at the Oasis restaurant.
- at the restaurant you do not have direct access to food, there are glass separators and the staff will serve you, having to mention every time how much food you want.
- all TV channels are Italian with no access to any steaming platforms from the tv.
- you are told at check in that there are no cash or bank cards payments allowed and you are handed a VOI Tanka card that you must prepay with money in order to pay around the resort. That turned out to be false. Every store and restaurant had a normal bank POS where you can use your normal card.
- we found ourselves in a communicating room and we heard every single cry of the cute baby next door, together with every conversation the couple had.
