Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, and a good size. Breakfast was simple but very good. Location was fantastic
3 flights of stairs to climb up our room - but I was aware of this at time of booking and the staff were very eager to help with our bags.

Breakfast was simple, but filling and tasty. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is located right next to the train station and very close to the historic city center. It doesn't have parking, but we arrived by train without luggage, so that was fine for us. The building is old, but well-maintained.
Our room was on the top floor. It was equipped with air conditioning, so that wasn't an issue. Just to nitpick, I'd say it would have been noisy if we had left the window open.

Love the location. It was very close to the Station and a short walk to the main attractions The person who greeted us was really nice. I wish he was there all the time. The building is beautiful.
Staff hardly acknowledge you. The breakfast was really poor. Not much of a variety. The lady behind the coffee bar never said good morning. She had a very cold look about her. Seemed like we were putting her out when we asked for a coffee. Being in Italy you expect great coffee. It wasnt. Would be nice to have a bit of nice, soft music in the background, as the silence was deafening. They don't make the rooms up till late afternoon.. We came back from a long day and the room was not made up. Then we we get a knock on the door to clean the room. When they did clean the room they didn't clean the floors. There were still crumbs on the floor from the night before. Really sad bcos the place is nice.
