I would recommend this hotel

Excellent Breakfast Menu -Lots of Choice

It is an older building ,high ceiling rooms which meant the room was not as warm as I would have liked

Superb

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was quiet at night which was great. We had lunch in the restaurant and the waitress was very helpful and gave us a takeaway lunch to take up to our daughters room as she didn't want to come down for food. Tea making facilities in the room

The room was too hot. The bed was a bit too soft for myself and my husband but our daughter said she thought it was perfect.

Everything was nice but the bar man Don was brilliant

One of the managers gave off to a staff member in front of a lot of people in the restaurant about no candles on the table. Should have been done behind closed doors

Lovely location, building & staff

Lovely staff, beautiful building & easy location

Food was a bit limited as a vegan. Breakfast had no non-dairy milk or spread on offer, staff charming in trying to meet our needs though.

I could never describe how much I enjoyed my stay here!! Everything was so good, starting from the reception. The Spanish and French guys (I don’t remember their names I’m so sorry) were so lovely and warm, i felt welcomed since i take a step inside of the hotel. The rooms are big with a lot of natural lights and the view!! I love everything, even the breakfast was amazing. I definitely come back! Thank you so much for make my birthday special!!☺️

Staff over haul needed.

Rooms, reception and toilets were spotless, easy to check in and out.

Staff are not friendly, very stand off. The wonderful bar with a full wall of bottles was beautiful however there were covered in dust, if you have a display it needs to be clean looking.

Stayed room only basis, old hotel but nicely refurbished with high ceilings, clean, McGettigans handy to have in the hotel, close to town and where we needed to be for a concert, great city view from the windows

Lovely views from the room and lovely balcony if booking during the summer it would be lovely to sit out on it.

Room was very hot... no window to open as the window was a door to the balcony

Good stay

Lovely big room, great view of the city. Nice shower and bathroom. Comfortable bed, cosy. The breakfast was very tasty.

The room smelled a bit smoky when I arrived, which wasn't the most pleasant. After opening the window, it was ok. Lots of people around the hotel and drinking late into the evening due to a function. By the time I had breakfast at 10, the pastries were all gone and so was the orange juice.

I would stay again and if the rooms get a refresh it will be top notch !

Nice large spaces and rooms in the converted military hospital. Super staff and friendly helpful service. Great view from window over city.

My room was a bit tired in places. Bathroom excellent although toilet running continuously (easy fix which I would have mentioned if staying more than one night). Furniture (table and chairs) stylish but had couple splits in them and some damp around window areas seeping into wall with start of mould in corners. But these were not major problems, just showing a little tiredness (room 202). The hotel has great potential.
