From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and very helpful. Made you feel welcome and at home. Restaurant food was amazing and the rooms very clean and comfortable. The location is also perfect.

The traditional Japanese breakfast was good and the breakfast room has an attractive outlook. The views of the Imperial Palace grounds are very pleasant. The central location and proximity to the nearest station saves a lot of time. The brand of drip coffee sachets supplied to the room are really excellent.
Some guests might appreciate a wider choice of coffee in the breakfast room. Espresso perhaps?

The location was great for the sites and museums
The Japanese style room was a lot smaller than expected and had a funky smell to it. Not to mention a bandaid on the wall. So cleaning was brought into question.
