The location, the view, the room size and practical layout, the good working order of everything (bathroom, air conditioner, lights, etc.)
The furniture is old. The room cleaning policy left in the room was not well presented in writing: it says in big letters that no housing keeping is provided (which is fine with me) bur then in much smaller characters that the room has to be cleaned every 3 days for stays of 4 days or more. I missed the small print. At the hotel request, I let the room to be cleaned. However, the same evening, I received another letter in harsh words telling me that the room would be cleaned the next day. This lack of communication among the hotline staff looks amateurish.

I really liked the location was excellent and honestly it was really affordable. The bathroom was pretty spacious. We tried the buffet and it had a lot of options and it was really delicious, it had a lot of authentic Japanese cuisine but also western options for the less adventurous of the family. The staff were nice and very helpful.
The room itself looked a bit unnatended and old, some of the wall was peeling near the vent. Both the vents and extractor from the room and the bathroom looked like they have not been cleaned/wiped in a good while, and the same as the window. We did not feel like the room was that clean.
The beds, as westerners, were rock solid, there was no give in any of the mattresses and when we asked for a comforter or something to put under due to one of the family members bad back all they could really offer was a thin fluffy blanket, again, the staff were really helpful I just think they didnt have the tools.
We thought the amenities were fairly simple, the ice machine almost never had ice.
The laundry dryers were not really looked after, my partner had to clean the filters that were packed with so much lint because our clothes kept getting lint on them when used.
And as always in true business hotelnfashion the standard double rooms were pretty cramped.
