Staff, elevator and location were the highlights. Also, as a woman traveling solo, I felt very safe. The breakfast was good, also, and the room was quiet with a comfortable bed.
Unremediated mold exposure in the shower, and cleanliness was so-so. The room was cleaned well on a daily basis, but there were stains on one of the walls that were old and gross. The furniture was rather shabby, and a badly frayed cord on the hair dryer attached to the bathroom wall looked to be a catastrophe waiting to happen; hotel staff was advised of it upon my departure. Overall, I would have liked it more if the owner had put some effort into a deep-cleaning of the room and some updates to the furniture and the rest of the interior.
