The location was excellent, right in the Gothic Quarter. The room was clean, and even though it faced a square with bars and restaurants, it was very quiet. We slept very well.
There was no elevator from the ground floor to reception, and then three to five more steps from reception to the elevator. The elevator broke down just after we arrived with our luggage (lucky!) but was repaired within 24 hours.
The room's AC seemed to be on a shut-off timer. We would wake up fairly hot in the middle of the night and find that the AC had turned off. I am not sure if the AC was glitching or if that was intentional to save energy.
