The location of Hostal Macarena is fantastic. I needed to be close to Plaza Major and I really couldn't have been closer!. My room was spotlessly clean and had a lovely view over the cobbled street below. All the facilities I needed were included - air conditioning, towels (very clean!), TV, and a comprehensive range of toiletries including bath gel, toothbrush/toothpaste, shaving kit, comb etc. Considering all the comments above I would rate the Hostal Macarena as great value for money and I will definitely be staying here again in the future!
The bathroom could do with a slight update and makeover. However, this didn't detract from my overall experience.

Location unbeatable. Rooms were clean and tidy every day. Nice to have balconies for rooms.
Hard to find entrance to hostal that was in building with apartments as well.

Location
This hostal do not provide basics as coffee in room. No coffee anywhere in hostal. No water vending machines. Little supplies as soap, shampoo etc. No even plastic cups to drink water.
Very extremely uncomfortable. Poor furniture and little of all. One chair very old uncomfortable
Overall do not stay here you deserves basics.
