La Goleta Hotel de Mar - Adults Only

Location was perfect! Beach access was perfect. Breakfast was plentiful. Unlimited coffee all day. Access to water all day. Fab beach bag and towels, also parasol available. Lovley bathroom toiletries. The staff were well trained, and they were so firefly and helpful. They looked after my husband with coeliac disease at breakfast.

If I have to think of something the rooms were a little tight but the bathroom was a great size.

Location is great, very clean, staff great.

Slightly basic in the room but not really a negative. But for the price..

Very disappointing experience. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. During check-out, we requested assistance with our luggage and were met with resistance and an argument from a receptionist. We were told that because this is a 4-star hotel, we should not expect the same level of service as a 5-star hotel. I found this response unprofessional and unacceptable. The lack of hospitality extended beyond the front desk. Even when politely asking a server for a glass of water, we were told to get it ourselves from the restaurant because it was self-service. Simple requests were handled with little courtesy or willingness to help. I have traveled extensively around the world and have stayed in many hotels of various categories, but I have rarely encountered service this poor. The overall atmosphere was unfriendly and far from the relaxing, enjoyable vacation experience we were hoping for. Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised This hotel is a small boutique property with very small rooms. However, the way it is advertised gives the impression of a much larger hotel with extensive amenities, which is misleading. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service and a peaceful vacation.
