This is a charming historic guest house in an excellent location, overlooking the canal and only a short walk from the historic centre of Bruges. The two staff members we met (Patrick and Nicky) were very friendly and welcoming. The suite we stayed in is lovely and is most original in its design. The breakfast was nice.
We arrived in Bruges as part of a mini European tour, having stayed in five locations. This was by far the most expensive accommodation we stayed in and we felt it was a bit overpriced. But perhaps this is normal pricing for Bruges.
The suite we stayed in (suite 4) was quite charming but it appears to be a converted attic and I don’t think it would be suitable for people with mobility issues due to the long narrow staircase leading up to it (challenging with heavy luggage). Also the space around the bed was quite restrictive due to the narrow sloping ceiling.
Also, there is no door separating the toilet from the rest of the suite. I think this is not a good idea.

The place is fabulous. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a glass of Champaine. Great heated pool and hot tub.
