Staff, especially at the reception desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool and spa were excellent and there were lots of chairs and sun beds to use. Hotel shuttle was excellent to both Ortigia (3 times a day) and to the beach (on demand).
We knew the location before we went, but you really need a car or to use the hotel shuttle to get around. Very peaceful location though.

Very clean, beautiful grounds, staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful room and terrace. Parking is great.

Shuttle bus to Ortygia worked well
Lunches and dinners weren't of a very high standard.
It was further from Ortygia than I imagined and the journey was very dull. Also walking out from the hotel was confined to dreary roads, so it felt rather confined.
