Location, location, location. A cup of coffee each morning in an Adirondack chair overlooking Narragansett Bay is a nice way to start the day. The little beach adjacent to the house is also an added bonus.

Overall, we enjoyed our trip to Jamestown. The highlight of this house is the location. The neighborhood and view can't be beat. We had some issues with the cleanliness of the house but the owners were very receptive. We could only use one of the bunk mattresses because the bottom bed is a box spring and kids found it too hard to sleep on. The windows don't have any screens so unfortunately we couldn't open the windows and hear the ocean. This also resulted in a musty smell in the house.

We really enjoyed our stay here.
The house was as advertised, Newer in the front (living area and porch) where we spent all our waking hours. Bedrooms are small. Kitchen and bath were well stocked.
We couldn’t find the DVD player and told the owners, who had one delivered the next day.
The beach park with shade tree next door was great when the afternoon sun strong.
Great family neighborhood. Easy access to so many areas to explore.
The views from the porch are just beautiful and always changing.
It was a perfect place/location for our Island Anniversary trip.

Go go Hardpressed Cider for best donuts & cider ever (but go on weekday or Saturday for no crowds. Go to all the shops in town, especially the bookstore and Gallery and Grapes and Gourmet (awesome cheese selection). Eat just about anywhere. Go to Wetherill and Beavertail State Park - fabulous. Enjoy!

I am 76 and my cousin is 80 and we are both independent and fully functional.

Let’s start with the hosts they are absolutely wonderful. Excellent communicators. I appreciated that they offered early check-in knowing we had a sailing excursion that evening. It really helped. The home is very well kept and looks exactly like the photos. The views are breathtaking. It was an excellent getaway, I’ll definitely return to this gem.

Had a fun and relaxing time in this cozy home. Husband has some mobility issues and Lisa was kind enough to provide me additional pictures to help me determine feasibility of access and movement. It all worked out well. :) Love the small beach next to it, and water was great for dipping in even in late September. So relaxing. Was also able to do some fishing. Our family loves Rhode Island and we find that early autumn is the best for optimizing beach time and hiking. This was our first stay in Jamestown but won't be our last. The location of the house is fantastic with a lovely sunset each evening. The beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location and spectacular view. My husband and I spent two nights at this location and the view from the porch deck is truly superb. Our plan was to visit Newport which we have done before but we just couldn’t leave the porch. Spent the day reading, relaxing and eating meals in. Also, played a great little 9 hole golf course a few miles down the road. Bring groceries and remember to buy ice as you won’t want to leave this house. Hopefully we will be able to return next year.

The location and residence was great. Plenty of outdoor chairs on the porch. The kitchen was ok but the frying pans were terrible. Old and sticky! Pots and dishes were were good but no pans would fit the oven for baking. Bunk beds could use better mattresses. Overall the place was still great and more than will to rent again.

We spent the first week of august in this oceanfront cottage and it worked well for our family. The cottage was small, but easily fit our family of 4. The front porch provided the most beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets and the yard was a great place for the kids to run around and play. You could easily walk over to the beach through a small path, but bring water shoes. The cottage had linens for the home, but bring beach towels and beach chairs as there weren’t really any at the house. The one recommendation would be bug spray as we noticed a lot of bites when we stayed here vs. a different house a couple of blocks back. We would definitely stay again!

I literally cannot say enough positive things about this property. It was perfect for our three person family. The property was beautiful and right on the water. I loved the fact that there is a private beach area and a public beach on the other side of the tree line. The entire experience was positive and relaxing, and my family called it the best vacation we have ever had!!

My family and I booked a last-minute trip to Rhode Island and we’re lucky enough to have found this gem. The house has an amazing location and is centrally located, 15 minutes to anything you want to see or do in the area. The house itself was perfect for my 3 kids, wife, and I. We had plenty of room to spread out and everything was spotless clean. The front lawn was perfect for the kids to run around and get some energy out and the back porch was perfect for your morning coffee and evening wine! The beach next door was steps away and perfect for paddle boarding. Beach shoes are a must because of all the rocks and seashells but that was not a problem at all. Overall we had an amazing stay and we can not wait to go back. When your in the area go check out sprout and lentil they have amazing food and if they are around basil and bunny is a delicious food truck to try out too!!!

Comfortable set up for 4 of us for a girls weekend. this is a great location for doing lots of activities along with providing a perfect view from the porch that makes just chilling out easy.

Small but beautifully maintained house right on the water. House was perfect size for our small family and view was gorgeous. The ONLY thing to know is that right next to it is a public beach which wasn’t a nuisance for us but there were points that it got a bit loud. Otherwise perfect place to stay!

Lovely easy access location. With the property frontage on the water plus the private neighborhood beach next door, there was ample access for fun and walks along the beach. As other visitors have commented, due to rocks and shells, bring water shoes. VIsitors to the beach next door are few and very friendly. Felt like an extensive private beach. Sunsets were truly gorgeous. We recommend going to Beavertail for at least one sunrise. Magnificent!

The owners were extremely responsive during the whole experience, from booking, to check in, to questions, or concerns during our stay. It is a beautiful, well equipped property, and I look forward to booking there again!

The property was very clean and the outdoor space was even more beautiful in person. We spent the entire weekend sitting out in the grass or on the deck. The inside of the house was spotless and we enjoyed cooking dinner together and then spending the rest of the night catching up at the dinner table. The beautiful water was a glorious sight to see when waking up and we loved the little walkway to the beach next door. I would 100% recommend this home but don't forget to bring your own toiletries and some cooking oil!

We have not visited Rhode Island before and enjoyed our stay. The rental was equipped with all of the necessities. We enjoyed being steps to the beach and having an outside shower. The kids enjoyed searching the shoreline at low tide. Sunsets from the deck were amazing! There are several great restaurants in Jamestown and a ferry, and it was just a quick trip over the bridge to Newport. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. Super clean, a/c works great, beds comfortable with nice bedding. The yard is large, and view spectacular. We brought our own kayaks and paddle board and spent all week in the water. The little town beach next door was a resource we also enjoyed daily. This is a sure bet rental that I’ve already recommended to friends.
