Hotel Flysch

The staff was kind and helful. The room was basic, but clean. Great place to stay- and the Flsych rocks in the building was a bonus.

Some parking spots in the garage were very very small. We ended up arriving back to the hotel around 11:30 at night and the only spot left available was the far spot by the door. We had a miniSUV rental and it was almost impossible to get it into the spot. Spots should be assigned by car size or room.

Good location for the beach and town. Good breakfast. Clean.

As others have said this is a real gem for a 2 star hotel. From the time you check in the staff are all very friendly, the reception desk, the young lady that looked after us a breakfast and even the lady that looked after the cleaning. The room (ours was 21) consists of a small lounge/dining/kitchen area, the large double bed and an ensuite bathroom. The room also had a small balcony overlooking the street and a view over Zumaia to the hills beyond. The Hotel is a short walk into town (downhill) and is only a 5min walk to the beach in the opposite direction. The kitchen is equipped with electric hotplates, a microwave, a fridge (which you can get restocked with drinks for free each day). They also supply plates, cuttlery and cooking equipment if you choose to use it. One down side was, based on the list inside the cupboard door there was quite a lot that hadn't been replaced over time. We had 3 saucers but only 1 cup, I'm sure I could have got exras if needed.

There was really only one thing that didn't impress me was having to pay 20 Euro's per day to park in the hotel carpark, but when you see what goes on with the street parking in the area I wouldn't want to be doing that each time I moved the car.

Location is best and it is convenient for parking but it has to be charge

Reception is rude. When my friend asking for receipt that she was impatient. Anyway this is my second time at this hotel. Because it has good location. The reception told my husband that he can't use toilet in the front office when we check out.
