This was by far the biggest room we had during our 2-week Japan trip - super comfy beds, excellent location, free water and coffees in the reception area, lovely, friendly staff. We absolutely loved our stay here and in the Arashiyama area - thank you!
Only negative was that we didn't stay longer!

It’s conveniently located a mere 4 minute walk from Arashiyama station on the Hankyu line.
The rooms were very nicely appointed. Clean and modern yet with a tatami floor section, low platform beds, a pretty shoji room divider , a Japanese bathtub with a separate body washing area with a shower.
There are no elevators and we were on the third floor. It was a little challenging with our 50 lb bag but we got it done.
There is complimentary bottled water and an espresso machine in the lobby as well as an assortment of other instant hot beverage choices.
No elevator (my mom is 89).

Nice to have a little calm outside of the city and so much to do and interesting little shops and walks
Property was brilliant but if you are European worth being aware that the restaurant options are extremely limited post 7pm in Aryshiyama itself
