Pool area well maintained and tidy.
Free towels for pool use.
Nice to have a fredo served poolside.
Floor to ceiling windows to balcony.
Large balcony with table and chairs.
Comfy beds and pillows.
Extremely high standard of housekeeping.
Daily change of sheets and towels.
Very good breakfast.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Small parking lot to the north side of the hotel - we always found a space.
Quiet at night - we slept well.
1) Some of the repairs in the room (305) let down an otherwise quite smart hotel. The soap dispenser was stuck to the beautiful marble splashback in the bathroom with a large blob of white adhesive, and wonky too. The toilet seat falls repeatedly against your back while sitting on it. Someone has tried to repair it with a pair of magnets and a large amount of double sided tape, but it doesn't hold - the seat hits your back relentlessly. The toilet seat creaks loudly. The bathroom tap handle creaks loudly. The blue headboard on the bed is stained.
2) We knew this hotel was outside of town, and uphill, but unfortunately there are not continuous pavements along the road. It's also not very picturesque with a large empty building and plenty of bins. For parts of the walk you need to walk on the road, however drivers were considerate of pedestrians.
3) The pool gets busy at weekends. The music by the pool seems to have a poor connection to the internet, and glitches every minute or so. Many men and boys prefer to enter the water by dive bombing, with maximum splash, every 3-5 minutes. Not relaxing to be around. We did get used to it, but I think this is the first hotel we've ever been to where this was the norm.

The location was exceptional! And value for money. Nice clean and sunny rooms. The WiFi was available and for free.

The rooms are really nice. There is a place to park.
The breakfast is at a very low level. Low quality of the only sausage, the only cheese. No butter, no cheese, not a single vegetable or fruit.
