THis property is ideal for larger groups who want to be near a Metro Station. Spacious, all of the amenities needed. We had a great time.

Place is quiet, big, and clean. Meets descriptions. Great for big groups.

This is a super place to stay with a group. Terrific communication with the owner. Having the big living room was perfect for the family group to meet up.

Great location close to the Metro station, grocery store, and everything we needed plus a quiet neighborhood.
Big place with 5 rooms, all with very comfortable beds. Our stay was during the heat wave, and the AC felt so good after a day of exploring DC.
The kitchen had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed family dinners at the large dining room table.
I would stay here again without hesitation!

Loved the location to local restaurants, grocery store and metro making everything just a few stops away. The house was the perfect size for the 7 of us and gave everyone plenty of personal space between the 3 floors. Cooking for all of us was a breeze with having additional kitchens and with staying 10 days the extra washer and dryers on every floor was a time saver when it came to laundry day. Great property!!

Super clean! Beautiful street. One block to metro. Restaurants in walking distance. Perfect for multiple families. Would definitely stay again when in DC!

The property is a three level large home and accommodated our group well. Beds were all very comfortable. We noticed that both sofas were actually high end trundle beds also.
There were three separate kitchens, but we all ended up, connecting together at the largest one on the main floor. Across the street was a Mexican food place, easy to get what you need quickly, and this VRBO is within distance of lots of restaurants and more importantly, metro is very close as is Safeway .
Lime, bikes, and scooters and capital bike sure are very accessible as well. David was a great host, and replied to my many questions when we arrived.

This house is super clean, spacious, and comfortable. I had 10 family members stay for a college graduation celebration and we had a great time. Even got street parking for 5 cars!
We hosted dinner for 13, so could have used some extra plates, glasses etc but otherwise perfect.

Property was great. The Mexican restaurant directly across the street was great as well. Recommend!

This property was perfect for our family group of 7 - six adults and our 10 year old grand daughter). My husband and I (grandpa and grandma) were happy to stay in a spacious bedroom on the main floor and with full bath right around the corner. There is one more main floor bedroom that we one or other of the adults used from time to time. Our son's family stayed upstairs and daughter and her husband downstairs. The beds were very comfortable and the temp control was easy to manage. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out as needed, and cozy spaces for us all to be together for meals and visiting.
This property is close to a metro station and a great location for Uber pickups. The neighborhood is full of restaurants, takeout places, bars, and shopping of various kinds - major grocery and pharmacy are in easy walking distance.
We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.
Thanks so much David for a very comfortable home away from home.

We stayed at the house during spring break. It was perfect location. Close to everything and away from crowds and with plenty of parking. We loved our stay. Check in was a breeze. From the moment we walked in, we were amazed how spacious and clean the place is. The kitchen had everything we needed, almost felt like home. Beds in each room were king size and very comfortable. Bathrooms had big family size shampoos , shower gels. Fridge had wines, beers. First floor had a nice area to hang out and was perfect for breakfast and watching tv after long day at museums. We had no problem to find a parking right next to the house. Location was perfect for us. . We walked to Capital 25 minutes or took $11-15 dollar Uber. Metro was also near by but Uber would come in 3-5 min and would take 6 of us anywhere we want. Highly recommend this beautiful home !!!

We had a fantastic time staying at David’s place! The house is great and very functional for larger groups (we were three families with kids), very clean, very well equipped and just in a fantastic location - less than a block away from the DC Metro and also just a few blocks away great dining and CVS and Safeway. Highly recommended!!!

I stayed here with my boyfriend and our 5 teenagers ages 13-18. We were able to sleep in the basement and they didn't keep us up. Great layout, and the kids definitely thought the house was haunted, but in a good way. Would definitely recommend. Stairs are steep.

Great property. Clean apartment. Comfortable beds. Extremely well stocked with coffee, sugar, and even a couple of bottles of wine. Can't beat the location just a 2 minute walk to the Potomac Metro station on the blue/orange/silver lines . I'd recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable beds, plenty of space for privacy. Enjoyed walking to the mall, eastern market. We only prepped breakfast, and plenty of cooking pots and pans for that. Lots of local restaurants. Easy access to metro. Highly recommend this spot.

Great location with easy walkability to the capital, restaurants, etc.

We really liked the town house -- the bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas on all three levels permitted space and privacy, while the main living room was big enough for a lot of people to gather and mingle. The kitchen equipment met all our needs; the beds were very comfortable; and the TV's worked great. The manager picked up the phone promptly each time I called and gave me perfect instructions for getting in and knowing how things worked.
My only reason for not giving everything 5 stars was that (i) the original internet listing of the property reflected a non-holiday rate, so when the manager contacted me about the details of our stay during Thanksgiving, I was surprised at how much more we needed to pay, and (ii) though the neighborhood felt safe and we enjoyed walking everywhere, it's still on the edge of the very nice part of DC, so there are some properties on the block that don't look that nice and there were some quasi-homeless people hanging out in the immediate vicinity.

We had a multi-family group that had enough space to spread out, with two sets of washer and dryers. The owner was very flexible with our different arrival and departure times, and was easy to get a hold of. The location was ideal, close to the metro and in a very quite area and a grocery store a short walk away, make sure to bring your own bags! We would defiantly stay here again.

The house gets great reviews and is as nice as advertised so I won't belabor that. The big surprise for me was the neighborhood. The reviews left me with the impression that it was nothing special - it was somewhat convenient and had a nearby grocery store. In fact, it is charming. It's tree-lined and apart from Pennsylvania Blvd, not too trafficked. It is a quick walk to Eastern Market and 8th St., both of which are lovely places to walk, eat, shop etc. If you are willing to walk a bit more, the entire trip up Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol and Mall is very nice.

We booked this house for our annual baseball family vacation. There are 10 of us and this home fit us perfectly. It is in a fantastic location with lots of walkable restaurants, metro is close, easy access to all the sites. There is also a Safeway that is a 5 minute walk away.
The owner was extremely accommodating and easy to get a hold of with any requests or questions. I would book this home again in a heartbeat. Our entire family really enjoyed staying here!

Our small school group of 2 teachers and 5 teens enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was fantastic as the nearest Metro stop is steps away and made it easy to explore the area. It was plenty of space for our group, and especially nice to have multiple sets of washers and dryers. As others have mentioned, the kitchen supplies were a little short for our cooking needs--a few more mixing/serving bowls & better knives would go a long way. Check in and check out were easy, and our host was responsive to questions by text. Great stay!

The house was large and comfy. Many rooms and bathrooms which is great for big groups. Great, central location with access to the metro and walking / biking distance to many iconic spots. David was a lovely host, met for check-in and even coordinated getting my sunglasses back to me which were left at the house. So happy to have them back. Would recommend this space for big groups or business teams.

It had everything we needed. Plenty of space. I was hoping for at least one walk in shower, but all were tubs. Though discovered that the surface of tub was not slippery. Kitchen was a great space to work in. Everything we needed for our stay.
The one suggestion I would make is to get DampRid for the basement. It was musty down there and luckily there were enough beds on the other two levels.

Basic amenities with bare essentials— no comforts of home. Minimal pots, pans, towels and linens. Not a home away from home. Bring blankets, throws, fans, etc.
On a positive- great location and accessibilities to stores. Meals are expensive in DC— would have loved to cook more but could not due to lack of kitchen equipment.
Beds are comfortable and loved multiple floor living spaces. But, again, you have to return to the main floor for coffee as the kitchens on other floors had nothing.
Enjoyed DC but would choose a more lavish setting for the steep price. Great accommodations if you don’t mind the basics—but I wanted an upscale experience.

This was a lovely home right on the orange/silver/blue lines with easy access by metro to everywhere. Also, there are two grocery stores within three blocks making it a great location. The home itself is very nicely maintained with lots of space and big comfy beds for everyone. We had seven in our group with plenty of space to spread out. You’re paying for location and service with this property - The owner was extremely responsive and personally met us at check in. He made sure that we had everything we needed and we had no big problems. My only caution - not sure if it is a VRBO issue or related to property management, but there were several surcharges on the booking including not insignificant fees and a very high cleaning fee so that the final price did not nearly match the per night rate listed on the booking. That said - we went into it with eyes open and would definitely book here again as it was worth it to our large group!

We had a great stay at this property. Safeway grocery store was 2 blocks away. Trader Joes 10 minute walk up the street. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. You can walk to the Capital in about 30 minutes. The house was clean and cozy and the host was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this property.

We found this home with 5 beds and 3 baths to be just right for our long weekend with extended family! While you could walk to the mall and museums and navy yard shops and restaurants, it was too long for most of our group, but we made good use of the capitol bikes and scooters and also the metro, all of which were very close by and convenient! Our entire group had the best time and we would come back and stay again with this property!

We loved the location close to all of the museums and attractions. Lots of food shopping places nearby. The place was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. Appliances worked beautifully in the main kitchen (the one we used), which was clean and up-to-date. Parking was a 10 minute walk to Trader Joe's, you can park in certain spots there which were readily available (parking attendant will tell you which spots). There is also abundant street parking, but we preferred to keep our car in the garage overnight. The lowest level /basement had a mildly musty smell, but there was so much room upstairs we did not really need that space. The only other suggestion I have is to increase the number of plates, pots, kitchen tools, etc. I bought measuring cups and spoons at a nearby Target as well as baking pans and a fresh cooking pan. The manager seemed to think that I cooked a lot more than others who have stayed at the property, which may be true, as it seems like a lot of business travelers stay there, and we are a family of 5. But the extra supplies were not very expensive, and once I got them, I had everything I needed to make pancakes, lunches, and even cook some dinners for our crew (thank you, instacart!). The upstairs kitchen had even less cooking tools and plates, etc. , but if you wanted, you could always bring some things from the main kitchen upstairs. Kitchen tools aside (which were easily obtained at Target), the place had everything else we needed-- abundant towels, blankets, sheets, etc, etc. There was wine and beer in the fridge for us (we prefer other things, but it was a nice gesture). Overall, it was a great experience staying there.

Place was awesome, just as described. David was a great host, great communication. He personally checked us in and showed us around. Location is great, nothing is too far away. Felt completely safe. Highly recommend!
