L'hotel si trova in una posizione buona per raggiungere i punti d'interesse migliori.

La colazione è scarsa in qualità e scelta. La camera era mal tenuta, con muri segnati, tende sporche e vetri mal puliti. Inoltre non è possibile regolare la temperatura della camera, in alcuni casi troppo alta durante il riposo notturno. In generale la camera ha un arredamento vecchio, con materassi bassi a molle. Inoltre pur trattandosi di una camera matrimoniale i materassi erano singoli, così come le coperte.

Excellent location, good value for money, comfortable room, helpful reception

I like that our room had a balcony and comfortable beds. Location is excellent, close to centre.

Not much light in the room, very dark, it was hard to pack up our belonging as room is soo dark, Wall, carpet need to be redone soon, as aged a lot, time for a refreshment, My partner is vegan ( health reason not by choice ) and apart of the previously requested soya milk it was not many options for him at the breakfast table, some pcs of vegetables, and margarine and fruits... that was it, No vegan sausages, no baked beans, no potato rosti , no vegan cheese or vegan yoghurt or vegan pate.... but lets hope will be some improvement in the future as more and more people choosing the vegan way of life.

Good value for a cheap hotel but few problems

Great sized rooms and very comfy beds, and it was nice that breakfast was included and there was a bar and lounge area. Very close to river and Parliament areas, so good location.

We had a few issues with our room that weren't sorted - the door handle from the inside was broken, and our bathroom door didn't lock. We told reception, and they said maintenance would look at it, but nothing was fixed. No soap in room, asked for it to be refilled in morning, housekeeping came during day to clean room but didn't refill so had to ask for a second time. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and cramped seating. Also, I wasn't too impressed with hearing drilling at 4 am from construction outside.

Está muy bien ubicado, limpio, los desayunos muy bien y el personal muy amables . Hemos contratado con ellos el servicio de traslado al aeropuerto de ida y. vuelta, excelente muy puntual.

Skvělá lokalita, čisto, každý den čisté ručníky. Velký výběr jídel k snídani.

Starší (ale funkční vybavení) umyvadlo špatně odtékalo. Ručníky zašedlé, z kterých visely nitě, zasloužily by vyměnit.

A good base for exploring the city

Breakfast was a good variety and changed day to day. The hotel is well positioned but far enough from the main road so that noise was not an issue. The two room with shared lobby layout was ideal for parents with older children.

Room was a little small once we got the suitcases in there. Wi-Fi was very hit and miss. Fire doors were wedged open compromising fire safety, even after I brought it to the attention of the staff at reception.

Expensive parking in Budapest, the hotel have only room for 8 cars, accessed via elevator. They charge €25 a day. They offered a deluxe upgrade, but we ended up not paying for the upgrade because the room was dirty.

Excellent location. We traveled by car. On weekends parking near the hotel is for free and we parked our car without any problems. There is also the possibility of paid underground parking at the hotel. Pets are allowed. The service is paid, as usual in other hotels. There is enough space in the room to arrange your staff. There is a minibar, trezor, hairdryer and kettle.

The room was not very clean. There are a lot of cobwebs and dust in the corners. The bathroom wasn't fresh enough either. But the bed linen and towels are clean and in good condition. There is also not enough light in the room. If the cleanliness of the room would be better, then we would like to stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

Great location in the city center, close to everything.

The hotel is located in a quiet street and is in an excellent location for visiting the city. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Self-service breakfast, quality food offer. Parking space reservation required. We would definitely like to be guests of Marmara Hotel again.

There are some small details in the room that should be fixed.

Memoriable trip to Budapest

Staying in Marmara Hotel made our trip better in many ways. A very good breakfast with sweet and salty options, a excellent hospitality experience, a very clean and beautiful room with a big bathroom, are the main characteristics of the certain hotel. It’s also near to the bus station.I would definitely recommend it to everyone, couples , groups of friends and families.

I would like a better-working hair dresser.

Werst hotel I’ve ever checked in

Location is the only advantage of this hotel with its own underground parking garage for about 6-7 cars. The personnel is trying to assist and resolve all the issues but it would have been better not to face any issues and there would be nothing to resolve.

Disanitary, heavy smoke smell in the room even after changing one room to another hopelessly relying on the fresh air in the room. Smoke and kitchen odors are everywhere in the room. Nothing can be touched or taken due the smells and dirty. Wet wipes could help us a little. Will not stay in this hotel next time.

Great for short stay in a central location

great location, good breakfast assortment

1) cleaning was not done properly in our room (i noticed because I dropped some makeup on the floor - it was still there when we can back in the eve) 2) breakfast room is next to the lobby and it can get quite cold as there is no door between the two (or it‘s not closed; or the bfast room is not heated…this is ok in the summer but on an Oct morning it‘s hard to enjoy breakfast) 3) breakfast staff is not super friendly

We liked the facilities (hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, shower gel, body lotion etc.), the bedroom was very quiet and the most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

First of all, I think the breakfast could be better, with more fruits, better coffee and cappuccino etc. Also the cleaning could be improved (we could see dust in many surfaces and the mirrors were not cleaned). However, the biggest problem that I had was the bed where I slept. When I booked Marmara hotel through Booking App, I chose 1 bedroom for 3 adults and it showed the option of 1 double bed and 1 single bed. My parents slept in a double bed, very comfortable, but for me they put a FOLDING BED (in the photos in their website it looks like a NORMAL bed) with a HORRIBLE MATTRESS. The next morning I complained about it and asked for a NORMAL SINGLE BED and they said it was impossible because they didn't have it. However, if you want to book for 2 adults, it's possible to ask for 2 singles beds, so my question is: Do they really don't have single beds? Anyway, after my complaint they took the 1st folding bed very fast (just after few minutes), but they changed it to ANOTHER FOLDING BED. The mattress was better, but in the middle of the 2nd night 2 of the bed frames broke, and of course it was difficult for me to sleep, but I was so tired that didn't even have energy to go to the reception to ask for help. After all this trouble, I asked if we could have a late check-out, because we were supposed to leave at 11am, but our bus was only at 10pm. The receptionist said the only thing she could do was to postpone it to 1pm and we could leave our bags there for free. If we wanted to stay longer, we would have to pay around 50 euros. I was really disappointed because honestly, for a 4 star hotel I was expecting more... In my opinion they could have make an effort to give me a normal single bed or, after the 2nd night, at least give us a late check-out without paying anything. At least we could have a shower after a day touring and before going home.

Do not use this hotel if Wi-Fi is important to you

The location was great. The room was fine. This is clearly better than a three star hotel but is not quite four star. The towels were old and thin, and there was just a element of downtroddenness - for example the taps in the bathroom spewed water over the floor if you accidentally turned them on full. The staff were friendly enough.

The fact that the wi-fi either did not work at all or was very slow or intermittent. It was possible to link to the WLAN, but the connection to the internet did not work. I raised this with the reception and they simply blamed the provider. Good WiFi is one of my main criteria for making a booking, and the hotel is plastered with good service awards and "free wifi" stickers. But that us all useless if does not work.
