We liked the area, and good close public transport. Our room was a very good size, had good storage and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel gave us free mineral water each day, which was greatly appreciated, as was the high quality blue-tooth loudspeaker in our room.
We booked the hotel, partly because of the good breakfast reviews. Infact, the breakfast was truly dreadful. Not only was there a complete lack of choice, but items like the very meagre selection of fruit were were not replenished when they ran out. This was also the case with ham, cheese and scrambled egg. There were only two staff serving and cooking in the restaurant, both of whom seemed disinterested and unengaged with the guests. We had breakfast there twice, but the second time proved worse than the first, so we made a complaint to the hotel and explained we had decided to pay for breakfast elsewhere. The staff were very understanding, but made a point that the breakfast was 'complementary' and included in the room price, so could not be separated from our bill. On departure, the hotel apologised a gave us each a payment which went some way towards having to eat elsewhere. Although this gesture was appreciated, the main breakfast problem still needed to be addressed.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, though it was extremely warm, being heated by direct morning sunlight. We checked with reception who told us there was no air-conditioning, despite the room thermostat showing a cooling mode, As the room overlooked a busy and noisy street, there was no real option to leave the windows open while the room was occupied.
Our bathroom was adequate, though not particularly clean, and the decor was tired. Throughout our stay, there was a very bad smell of drains in the bathroom, which probably came from a drain in the floor, We mentioned this to the hotel, who said they would ask the cleaning staff to deal with the problem, but there was no significant improvement during our six day stay. The smell was sometimes so bad, that it entered the bedroom despite leaving the bathroom door closed.

Location and suite room were perfect
The bath towels were very small and didn’t match the style and fitting of the rest of the room.
The entrance downstairs to the building gave a shabbier feel too. Whereas the reception of the hotel was very nice

Good location
Breakfast could have been alot better. No butter as it was coming the next day, fruit (apples and pears) were very bruised and marked and way past there picking. Some hot dishes were luke warm.

Room temperature was way too hot and not adjustable. Only heating and no aircon.
Rooms are aging but clean.
