Very friendly staff, breakfast and location
The room was not as clean as I would have expected from a four-star hotel. Additionally, the bathroom was somewhat small, and the water pressure during the shower could have been considerably better.

I always stay here when I am in Essen and I am never disappointed! It’s always clean, the rooms are really nice, the staff is helpful and it’s great value for money. Also walking distance from the station if you are traveling with public transport.

Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable.
They asked for 30 euros for a 90 minute early check-in. They asked for 60 euros for parking for 4 days. Absurd prices for parking, in such a small city.
We dined in the hotel restaurant, we were charged 10 euro per 1L bottle of water. Robbery.
