Loved the location - loved that there was such a choice in your room, both of the refreshments (fridge with the mini bar drinks and sweets included free milk) there was also free bottles of water in the room,) and of the mini bar (which was great value) - loved the way they did things - so eg ordering your food while you sat in the lounge or bar then called to the table when your dinner was ready - 80% of the food cooked from scratch - a served buffet breakfast - An ev charger. Welsh named rooms rather than numbered. Lots of good guidance to get you there avoiding single track roads -Welcoming friendly staff. Good base for visiting lots of lovely locations. Great car park and garden.
There was a horrible smoke smell in our room (Lloyd) the explanation given was that we were over one of the fires in the bar. If that is the reason, is there a problem with the chimney?
I would have liked to eat dinner at the Mulberry Inn after a day out - and although they had 4 vegetarian dishes on the menu, none were ones I could eat (two had cheese, one mushrooms and the third lemon grass).

Peaceful, beautiful location with good parking. Great food - dinner and breakfast were delicious with very friendly and professional staff. Lovely relaxing lounge area and bedroom with large bathroom. Lots of surprise treats which we appreciated including fresh milk in our room. Owner/manager was warm, friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

What a little gem, what a find! We were driving (from London) to Holyhead for the ferry and wanted to break the journey overnight. The Mulberry Inn seemed like a good spot, located near Llangollen (a few miles off the A5). Oh my, what a location! You could here a pin drop. The hotel itself was on the edge of a sleepy little hamlet with a shop and post office. The scenery was superb, with views across the valley! The staff were super, nothing was too much. The food was high class quality, perfectly presented! The rooms were right up there with some of the best we've stayed in, with added little touches to make your stay even more enjoyable! The gauge of a great place is the returning guests, and this was so evident! Allan (the owner) has done a wonderful job, and we'll certainly be back!
