Well worth a visit

The room and building were beautiful

Breakfast was ok but not its strongpoint, order came out wrong twice and not the warmest.

Cracking hotel with brilliant staff - would definately stay there again.

Gatehouse of Fleet is a beautiful quiet location, and the Ship Inn was a wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious, modern and clean - as were the public areas of the hotel. Breakfast was tasty and there is plenty of on road parking outside the hotel. Loved it.

Would have liked a bigger TV (but only because Wimbledon was on during our stay!)

Great!!

Staff were friendly, including the young man who checked us in. Very friendly and informative. Overall the facilities were fantastic, room was very clean and warm when we arrived and overall a very positive stay.

Simply outstanding

It's not hard to see why the Ship Inn wins awards. This place is excellent. My wife & I were greeted warmly the second we arrived and that friendly and professional approach was mirrored in all of the staff we met. Our room was superb, clean, bright and very well appointed. The quality of finish reflects the high standards evident throughout this hotel. Our meal in the restaurant was top drawer. The service was amazing, the restaurant itself warm and inviting. Our food, from starter through main course, desert and cheese board was some of the finest we have eaten in some time. The ingredients were all fresh, beautifully cooked and extremely well presented. Our breakfast this morning was plentiful and enjoyable The Ship Inn is very well worth a visit and despite the high quality and outstanding service is very reasonably priced and represents excellent value for money. We cannot wait to return.

A peaceful weekend with plenty fresh air to charge the batteries

Breakfast was first class. If you wanted more it was no problem. The Hotel was small but in very good condition and very clean and our room was inviting comfortable and value for money

The location may not suit many but having known the are we were satisfied that it was peaceful quiet and what we expected.

short two day stop over, staff very accommodating and the hotel was very relaxed

quiet hotel centrally placed within the town. staff were very polite and friendly. with bed was very comfortable and good sized too. bathroom was like new with an amazing shower.

Great base for travelling the surrounding area, nice quiet location and well maintained hotel.

Beautiful small hotel, clearly maintained to a high standard. Attic room was perfect for my daughter and I, lovely roomy bathroom with power shower.

We enjoyed our stay and would happily return

The interior is contemporary and comfortable. Our bedroom was spacious and very clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent with the staff being friendly and helpful.
