Monsuau Cala D'Or Hotel 4 Sup - Adults Only

Modern and clean hotel loved the main part of this hotel I cannot speak for the other blocks across the road. Two members of the staff stood out and we got to know them both Maria on reception and Daniel on the rooftop bar who were both so friendly and helpful

This is a non smoking hotel as are most hotels now in Spain, however very discriminatory that they did not have any designated areas other than standing at the front of the Hotel not a good look. There was a gate off to the side which would have been good for the guests in the other blocks to access the pool or to go outside rather than go through the hotel in swimwear (possibly wet) however this gate was for deliveries and to be kept locked. Smoking however was allowed on the upstairs bar area but not downstairs when we asked we were told the director had made this concession because it was the top of the building and can go up into the air! Strange! lol No air in bar area downstairs! This is a four star hotel and while the pool area was immaculate I do not expect to drink out of paper cups! When we were in Seville in Aug the hotel there had lively plastic cups which included beer plastic cups wine and gin tumblers all see through plastic. The paper cups became soggy and then leaked what man wants to drink a beer in a paper cup. Would I stay here again yes quite possibly would I recommend it probably but there is always room for improvement after all it’s 4 star ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️

Clean, beautiful property. The pool, spa pool and gym were great too. Breakfast was delicious

Only one pool towel a day, can’t change out.

Adults only so nice and quiet, always plenty of sun loungers by the pool no "reserving" them with towels. Sky bar food amazing with a perfect sunset location. Staff all went above expectation to help. The rooms are really nice air con is great and having a fridge was a bonus for cold drinks. Apart from the disappointment with the swim up room I would thoroughly recommend the hotel if you want peace and quiet. If you want more lively then look closer to Cala D'Or centre.

We booked a swim up room...just be aware only 3 rooms are fully swim up ours was a "paddle up" this was not clear when we made our reservation. You can use the whole pool which is lovely but you need to swim past other rooms where the water is deeper. See attached photo the 3 deep water rooms have the silver bannister the rest you just step into shallow water.

The room was clean

Pool area wasn’t very inviting and open times weren’t great. Staff in the daytime restaurant unfriendly and disinterested. Power cut both days we were there.
