Old style NZ building but looks great on the outside, modern on the inside. Host was really friendly. Very clean, tidy and comfortable.
No reception area and couldn’t find someone to help for a bit. First world problem but all three pillows were high loft…would’ve been nice to have a choice of a lower loft pillow which I find more comfortable.

Unfortunately disappointing. it seemed I wasnt expected when I arrived despite booking over 6 weeks ago. Some time spend looking up my booking then I had to show what I had booked on my app and the type of room booked. The facilities were not high quality for $275 per night room . Furniture more The Warehouse cabinetry etc. Bathroom was tired, shower with tarnish/rust around metal frames . Mildew Staining around bottom of shower . Soap rack over basin covered in soap scum . Only needs some boiling water poured through to clean it . The room had a very strong smell of commercial cleaning products and could smell it on my clothes the following day after arrival . Its a nice 3 star but not a 4.5 star. Staff seemed helpful and nice but standard of the room let them down .
