Lovely room, clean, comfortable and cozy. The extra internal window was useful as it was loud outside (typical Saturday night at the pub!), but I could shut that out. Quirky decor...I loved the tiling in the bathroom, and the vintage mirrors and pictures. Pretty much in the centre of town, and fantastic value for money!!
Shower could have been hotter. Bath towel could have been bigger (this is a very common problem). No other issues.

The location was great, just a few minutes' walk from the station and easy to find. The property was full of character, which I loved. The staff were friendly and sorted out check-in quickly. The bed was comfortable, and the room a nice size for the price.
The lighting was rather dull, which made reading in bed difficult. The positioning of the mirror and the sink was a bit off. Above all, the exit door really needed a handle on the inside. Getting out required opening the door a crack and wrapping my fingertips around it.

Bar was busy and good atmosphere
Poor decoration in need of redecorating, carpets need replacing. Bathroom grimy.
