Easy to find. right by a bus stop. good location on main road but still quiet in the rooms.
plenty of stairs to our rooms but our bags were carried for us so no real complaint there. rooms were a bit small.

The hotel is in a great location, only a stones throw from the beach, with a great view of Parrot Rock and the sea from the breakfast balcony. Located within walking distance of many other beach restaurants and a busier part of the town, where there are many shops, souvenirs and ATMs if needed.
The room we were in had everything you could need - large beds with mosquito nets, a/c, fridge, kettle, tea coffee etc.
We spent many a lazy afternoon in the pool, overlooking the sea when the waves were too rough or the sun was too hot. We would grab drinks from the restaurant downstairs and have them by the pool.
The most memorable part of the stay was the warmth and welcome from our hosts Rathnasiri and Deepika, plus their niece and all of the staff. Everyone was so helpful and couldn’t do enough to look after us or assist us. They serve a beautiful fresh breakfast everyday on the roof terrace every day, the food in the restaurant is great and I cannot describe how much better they made our stay by treating us like family.
Thank you for the most wonderful holiday, I cannot recommend staying with you enough.

Location was great! Right in between parrot rock and coconut hill and just across the street from the beach. The host and staff are very kind and helpful. The room was clean and had a mini fridge. The breakfast was a lot of food and you eat on the roof overlooking the ocean.

The location is very convenient close to the beach and restaurants, the room was spacious and the host was kind enough to let us have a late check out as our flight wasn't till midnight.

Rathna and his wife Deepika are the best! they literally do everything to help and I can’t be more thankful to have met them. they picked me up at the airport at 3:25am on a Sunday, and arranged transportation to Arugam bay from one day to the other. the resort is a really nice place and the breakfast in the terrace overlooking the ocean is just perfect! you can walk to mirissa beach and jump on a bus or tuk tuk to other places really easily. good local restaurants nearby. I’ll definitely come back to this place in the future and 100% recommend it to anyone!

The main reason I enjoyed my stay was because the host was so welcoming and kind. He went the extra mile to take me to a snake farm that I wanted to go, and stayed with me during my visit and took me back to the hotel after. Additionally, his wife was also very kind - I had leftover food from dinner yesterday and she re-cooked it for me for breakfast! The location is also very convenient, with coconut tree hill and Marissa beach all walking distance away. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and quiet. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay - definitely the stand-out hotel during my SL trip :)

The room is spacious and bathroom is spacious and clean. Good shower area with hot water. Provide additional hanging area to dry our wet clothings outside the room at the common area. The bed come with mosquito net and all the necessary furnitures. Aircon is new and fan is good.
Deepika and Rathna are attentive to our requests and do their best to fulfill. Even helped us with some travelling plan and arrangements.
Breakfast is good and sufficent to last till mid day. We had dinner cooked by Deepika and it was good. My husband likes the prawn cooked with some local spices.
We love the great hospitality and great service. Location is great with shops and restaurants witihin walking distance.

Super friendly, sweet and very helpful family. The whole accomodation and communal areas are spotlessly clean. Great sized room with very big and comfortable bed with good sized bathroom. There is also a pool on the first floor which was very clean. Breakfast is fresh, delicious and big!! Fruit, eggs, bread, pancakes tea/coffee, fresh juice. You eat on the roof terrace with a fantastic view of the sea. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return. Thank you for everything!!

We had a pleasant stay here. Our room was roomy and comfortable. Our hosts were just lovely, very helpful and made us a delicious breakfast. The location is central, the beach easily accessible.
The property is on the main road and can be noisy for light sleepers. It lacked ambience, I found myself wishing we had chosen a beachfront property.

The hosts Deepika and Rathna are such amazing and friendly people, who support you with everything.
Deepika picked me up from the airport. Rathna arranged a tuktuk drive to a snakefarm nearby.
The food was delicious. From the terrace where you have breakfast or dinner you are able to see and hear the sea.
The walls are very thin. So there was one night a family in the room next to mine and it was quite noisy early in the morning.

We were so lucky to stay at Deepika resort! It is conveniently located close to two beaches and short drive to city center. We didn’t hear any noise from the road. The room is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay - including both AC and fan, fridge, teapot - and our room had nice sea view. The breakfast was nice and hearty, served on the terrace with a sea view.
The owners are wonderful people, they care about guests so much and always happy to help with any question you have. The host Rathnasiri organized a whale watching tour for us at reasonable price. His wife Deepika picked up us at the airport and also drove us back (even though we already moved to the other city). She is very good driver and lovely person, and the cost for transfer was reasonable too. We were on our honeymoon trip, and this family treated us so well, decorated room with flowers and even gave us presents to go.
The stay here left us with many positive emotions and lovely memories, we surely recommend to stay here and enjoy your trip while the hotel will take care of everything you need.

This hotel is a very good option in this location.
The family that owns it is very friendly, when really took care of us the best way they could! Especially when they heard about the war in Ukraine, we were in Sri Lanka when the war started and really panicked. They even offered to live in the hotel for as long as we need and pay later. Thank you a lot for that!

The breakfast was amazing. The owner was so nice to talk to. The pool was a added attraction, though we didn't use it. The hotel was so close to beach and walkable distance from many restaurants.
Power cut because of then situation, the way to bathroom was small, layout of room can be changed.

Beautiful spot overlooking the ocean, and lovely hosts. It was raining one night and I came out of my room to find they had left me an umbrella! They also bought me a powered light when there was a blackout 🙂

Accommodation was on a main road and more 'basic' than we thought from the description and photos. Nice to have kettle in the room but no tea or coffee sachets provided. Pool water did not look clean but we realised but this may have been due to the current difficulty times & power cuts in Sri Lanka

I was fortunate enough to have THE Deepika pick me up at the airport at I arrived - what a start. She is a lovely, fiery woman (and her husband is really nice too!). It was a good drive down south, even if I had been awake for 27 hours.
The resort is what you see on the pictures. Don’t go here if you want luxury, but safely go if you are looking for a decent, well-situated and peaceful guest house. Deepika, her husband and the lovely lady who does the cleaning will do their utmost to ensure you have a great stay. A couple of minutes from the (swimmable) beach, and the lovely site of the parrot island. It is a great location in Mirissa, end of. If you are her for the surf the location is even better.
Comfortable beds, good air-con, good balcony, good breakfast, spacious and clean room (including the bathroom).
I had one minor issue during my stay, it was sorted promptly.
The pool and the gym did nothing for me. The latter could use a good scrub-down, I don’t mind rusty weights but the dirt was … there. So don’t go here for pool or gym, just everything else.

Location is superb, many restaurants near or walking distance, a surfing school across the road, easy access to the beach, and above all owners are the best people we have seen in sri lanka. they always greet you with a big smile on their face and help you out with everything you may need. they make you feel at home.

very nice owner & staff. They were always kind and helpful. The sea view from the room and top floor (that is where we had breakfast) was amazing. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and out of the noisy city center.

Best breakfast we’ve had so far! The chocolate banana pancakes were my favourite. The beach is a stone’s throw away and there are a lot of lovely restaurants in the area. Definitely the place to go if you’re looking for something simple with a phenomenal breakfast and great location!
WiFi is not uncapped but that wasn’t an issue. The owner recharged whenever we needed!
