It was a relaxing stay at a reasonable price.

We loved being able to either use the platform separate pool attached to the Dreamsicle building or swim in the sea. It was very relaxing. The food at the Bistro was very good.

Placencia is a beautiful place with amazing locals and great food!

Everything! Such a wonderful place. Small and cozy!

It’s a bit far from the town, no shuttle. You will have to rent a golf cart, which is easy, affordable and loads of fun!

Had a horable experiences We left the Hotel and requested a refund. Up to know the hotel dont want to refund us.

The Staff was Highly Inapproprate by following us around making me feel unsafe. Staff members was disrespectful

Super friendly staff in peaceful spot on the beach with everything you need to relax and enjoy!

Incredibly friendly, welcoming staff who are very on top of it and will help you with all your planning and logistics needs. It's a quiet, peaceful place right on the water with incredible sunrise views. There are two pools and plenty of chairs and hammocks to relax in. You have free access to paddle boards and kayaks, which is a lovely way to start the day, when the waters are calm. The Bistro restaurant is open from breakfast through dinner and has very tasty food. The room was clean and comfortable, with AC and fans, and equipped with it's own kitchen and fridge if you want to do your own cooking. Even though it's a bit outside of Placencia, I did a snorkeling day trip with Captain Jak's who still came and picked me up at Maya Beach.

Loved the vibe of the place, staff were fantastic, food was delicious.

Breakfast was great, lots of options and everything was delicious

Had a couple issues with the air conditioner. Would love a swim up bar and maybe some shade.

Private pool not private but shared. Facilities need updating. Poor access into pool. No ladder into sea from pier.

Amazing little place with wonderful staff

Great location. Staff was super friendly, we enjoyed chats with them and their good humor. Beach was well cared for and right out the door.

Could get a refill on coffee and sugars daily.

Disappointing

The staff was absolutely wonder.

Wi-Fi by pool didn’t work, no spa, dogs roaming on property. I just want really comfortable and decided to staff with a friend. I was told I had to contact booking.com for a refund.

The local atmosphere was lovely. The hospitality of the staff was amazing. They were friendly and very helpful! The food at the Bistro was fantastic! The beach was beautiful and clean. We loved our stay!

From the minute we arrived you felt at home. Wonderful staff, great beachfront accommodations, great food and drinks. All of the staff no matter what their job duties was friendly & helpful.

Great value for a mid level small resort on the ocean.

We rented all 3 units of the Dreamsicle house and pool cabin. It was great to have so much room and a whole house with a private pool and still have access to all the resort amenities. We ate and drank at the restaurant and it was always top notch but the staff were even better!

Distance out of Placencia meant you needed a golf cart but staff arranged everything for us.

Excellent place for a short stay; high-quality food choices.

All hotel buildings face the ocean: a very nice feature. The staff is really friendly. The property is clean and well-maintained. The restaurant is likely the best in the Placencia area and one of the best in Belize.

The pool is tiny and hardly usable.

our stay was wonderful to say the least.

Proximity to the ocean, the pool, the food and menu options, as well as the staff were all remarkable.

Only drawbacks were that bikes were offered online but not readily available.

Had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

Marlon (the concierge) was amazing. Housekeeping was very attentive. Loved having a delicious restaurant on site. The apartment was perfect for our needs.

Being above the restaurant at night was a little noisy (music, dishes clanging), which probably would have been remedied by closing all the windows and turning on AC but we preferred fresh air.

Maya Beach Hotel is confy and has the type of high standard that is not usual to find in Belize. Beautiful place and far away from Placencia Village.

You are going to need a car or golf cart to get to Placencia village.
