About this house rental
Situated in Pinetop-Lakeside, this lovely house for $183 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Wonderful two story cottage directly across the street from Rainbow Lake. Main level has a large living area with a standing fireplace. Great large kitchen and dining area and cable/DVD in the living room. A restful porch with spa wraps around home and rests on Frog pond. Also on main level is one master king bedroom with connecting bath. On the second level there are 3 bedrooms: One master King bed and bath, with patio doors going out to the upper deck to take in the views. The two remaining rooms are Queen size bedrooms, one having a private patio. There is also an additional full bathroom on the second level. Finally, there is a additional family room on the second level with cable/DVD. Our Cottage: This beautiful home is our favorite place to getaway from it all. Whether you like fishing, skiing or just relaxing, our home will offer all the comforts of home. We feel that in our experience vacationing with our own family and renting properties all over the country. Having a place that you can come and have the comforts of home yet some of the extras that a hotel can provide would be the ultimate experience. It's in the details: Our property has all the amenities you will need to make your vacation a enjoyable one. In the kitchen we provide all utensils and serving ware, along with spices and condiments for your use during your stay. All appliances are new and there is also a gas grill for those cookouts. Premium cable and DVD players are standard in both family areas upstairs and downstairs. Patio furniture as well as the porch area is furnished for those who want to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We also provide fishing poles and tackle for 4 people.

Nice place. Quiet and tucked away, but not far from activities, restaurants, etc. Couple small issues that the owners addressed right away.

Very accommodating for many adults. Real only drawback was the upstairs bedrooms had not enough air conditioning air flow. The fans that were provided were not enough to make it comfortable at night when it was 93 degrees during the day. Upstairs was 10 degrees warmer than downstairs.

The owners of this place are very quick to respond and very accommodating. The house is so warm and inviting and even had Christmas decorations inside and out. You can tell this place is well cared for. There is PLENTY of seating both upstairs and down and a closet full of games. The beds are warm & comfy and there's lots of extra blankets, just in case you need another layer.
We needed a good size house that could accommodate 7 adults a 1 child and this place truly delivered! One of the best places we've stayed at. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved the house. The location was great - we loved sitting on the porch watching the sunrise and found the house to be very comfortable. The master bath is luxurious and the bed was very comfortable! Everything from booking to checking in to communication during our stay was awesome - will definitely stay again next time we visit!!!

We really enjoyed staying in this unique home. It has a very cute cottage vibe. It was within walking distance to the lake and has a little pond right next to it. My kids loved spending time exploring around the water. We would definitely stay here again.

The outside was overgrown with weeds and bushes that needed trimming badly. Found out that their caught covid and was not able to clean the property for a few months. He did show up as we were leaving. A little disappointed that the pond was dry but that was outside of anybodys control. The house was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable. The biggest down side was the closets and most of the dresser drawers were full of cloths to include underwear. Seems like this is standard since I have seen this in other VRBO's we had stayed in. The owner was very responsive to any questions and issue we had and did her best to correct them right away. We would definitely return but the decor was not our style. Thanks Shannon!

There was an initial mix-up with the cleaning crew on the dates for cleaning, so the place hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. Shannon acted fairly quickly to have them come in while we went out for dinner, which is why I gave only 4 stars for cleanliness.

Beautiful Quaint Home
We so enjoyed our stay..the home was perfect, the ambiance of the interior was so beautifully decorated, everything you could possibly need. Shannon was always readily available and kind. The lake views were beautiful, even with the drought and wildfires. Would highly recommend this property you will not be disappointed our stay was full of great memories that we will cherish and definitely stay again when we visit the area next year.

I traveled with my husband and six children to this location. The owner is very communicative and accommodating. Shannon really cares about her guests. It was close to everything that we wanted to do, and we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Lovely Home
We enjoyed a wonderful few days at the Cottage at Frog Pond. The home is very spacious with great comfy beds. We loved the views of the pond and watching the ducks and geese and snow falling. Gorgeous photo opportunities. Shannon was so helpful with any questions or needs we had.

This cottage was lovely! We used it as the Bridal Suite for my sisters wedding at Lazy Oaks just down the road. The house is perfect and the pre-wedding photos taken here were stunning! Comfy beds, plenty of space! Thank you for a lovely stay! <3

Beautiful vacation home for family vacation
Home was truly lovely and equipped with everything. House was clean and comfortable for a family of 7. Our family spent most of our time on the porch enjoying the wonderful breeze. Would highly recommend this property.

The size of the home was nice and we enjoyed the decks. It was fun being next to a pond. The home had the space and things we needed. The bathrooms smelt fresh and clean. Unfortanetly the home wasnt very clean, the floors needed a deep cleaning, it was somewhat dusty through the home andd it would have been nice to have pans that were in better shape and that did not stick. But overall the home met our needs for the short period we were there.
