Situated in Kimberley, this lovely cabin for $163 per night is a great choice for your next break. **Update. A brand new hot tub has been purchased and a structure built to keep it covered. Pictures updated. ***Important*** Kimberley has a bylaw that only allows owners a maximum occupancy of 8 adults at one time. Any occupants beyond the 8 adult limit must be children. There are fines for breaking this bylaw and the owners will not be responsible for any that are incurred due to inaccurate head counts on bookings. Thank you for your cooperation!*** Have you ever dreamed of staying in a quintessential log chalet nestled in the mountains but still having all the creature comforts of home at your finger tips? If so, our property is exactly what you are looking for! Our cabin is located 10 minutes south of Kimberley or 20 minutes north of the Cranbrook International Airport. Nestled between the Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges in the St. Mary’s River Valley, this home is the ultimate 4-season Mountain getaway. The Area: Golf – The area is considered a “Golfer’s Paradise” with 3 Championship 18-hole golf courses at your doorstep and 7 more golf courses within a 30 minute drive from the property. Ski - For those snow chasers, the Kimberley Alpine Resort boasts 80+ Runs and over 1,800 acres of terrain. Powder days hold a special place in your memory banks! Play – Mountain Bike, Hike, Snowmobile, Fish…. The opportunities are endless. The property backs onto one of the largest municipal parks in Canada. Kimberley Town Center – Offers a unique, pedestrian-only Platzl with an array of boutique shops and restaurants and acts as a central location for festivals and community gatherings. The Property: This property is ideal for Couples, family gatherings or group getaways. Sitting on 3 levels, the main floor offers a kitchen/dining area, living room with beautiful stone wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceilings, 1 bedroom (queen bed) and a bathroom. The top floor Loft offers a beautiful master retreat with a King Size bed and views from all angles. Head down to the bottom floor and you will find a media area, bathroom, in-house laundry as well as a bedroom with bunks (Twin + Double + Double trundle pull out), or as we call it "The Kids Zone". This property comes with a fully equipped kitchen, All linens, complimentary Wi-Fi, Netflix, Outdoor BBQ, Washer/Dryer and Geothermal Heating/Cooling. Spend your morning sitting on the beautiful front deck watching the sunrise and listening to the rush of the river down below or the birds singing in the trees. Spend your evening soaking those sore muscles in the hot tub after a long day of skiing or hiking. Head out for a walk in the neighborhood and make friends with some of the local deer who will surely pay you a visit during your stay. Cozy cabin in the woods is well appointed in a quiet area just out of town. Great fireplace with lots of split wood to keep warm. Nice kitchen with plenty of appliances. Comfortable beds. Great hot tub. Shanna is a great host and communicator.

This beautiful cabin was a perfect meeting place for our family group. Six adults all slept comfortably. Great location for our active family of bikers, swimmers, and trail runners. We would definitely book this property again if we were to return to the Kimberley area. We truly appreciated the graciousness of the hosts.

We throughly enjoy our stay at the Log Cabin! The home itself was super clean and thoughtfully decorated. It was bliss sitting on the balcony basking in the sun and catching glimpses of the hummingbirds. My son enjoyed the hot tub in the quiet back area. The pinnacle of staying here was the opportunity to explore the hiking trails close to the cabin. There is an abundance of great hikes from walking down to the river to exploring the hillsides. Highly recommend this property to families wishing to stay in the Kimberley area.

Came to Kimberley with another retired couple after staying in Canmore a few days and seeing Banff National Park. Cabin was clean, cozy and nicely supplied with towels, bedding and plenty of kitchen necessities. We saw families of deer almost daily. Drove to nearby lake surrounded with beautiful mountains. Enjoyed our stay.

Great Girls' Getaway
We were very pleased with the property for our getaway. It was well appointed with everything we needed and is in a great location with lots of interesting hiking trails and amenities nearby. We had a minor hiccup at checkin but the owner did an amazing job of getting it resolved immediately. We would not hesitate to rent here again!

Lumbering relaxation II
This was our second retreat to this lovely cabin and it gets better every time. One can feel the stress melt away as soon as you turn into the neighborhood let alone the cosy comfort of every square inch of this log cabin. Can’t wait to go back!

Lumbering Relaxation
This well appointed log cabin spares no expense on your creature comforts. The beds, the furniture, the wildlife (ok they didn’t pay for the deer but the wildlife is always present!!!) … seriously, the constantly present deer are worth the price of admission alone! The host is so attentive and kind. Pride of ownership in every detail! Be prepared to relax and enjoy!!

We love the Kimberley area, and used the cabin as a base for many local activities (trail running, hiking, fishing, rafting, golfing, etc.). The kids enjoyed fishing in the St. Mary's river just down the road, golfing the nearby mini-golf course (also within walking distance), and the trails along the river were great for family evening walks. The hottub was great! Shanna responded to any request we had quickly and efficiently, and the bottle of wine was a nice welcome.
