All the people working there were amazing so helpful, attentive and welcoming. The facilities were also great and it was comfortable even though outside was 40°C inside the aircon made our live easy

Nice place, very close to everything located in the old town. Breakfast was also good

The guest house is well located inside of the old town and everything is in a walkable distance (although due to this an arrival with a car to the doorsteps might be complicated). The hosts were also nice enough to adapt to our need to do an extra early checkout and still could provide an early breakfast.
* The rooms were very tiny and both on the ground floor, one having windows on the street and the other one only had a light shaft in the ceiling but no actual window. The rooms had barely any furniture, with no chairs or a table.
* The beds in Uzbekistan are notoriously hard and this guest house isn't an exception, causing back pain to one person in our group.
* The water had a funny taste/smell and it took some waiting to get decently warm water for showering
* Guests should also take into account that this place is family run and they want to lock the doors after the last guest, so it didn't feel good to come late making someone wait on us while we enjoyed walks in the nightly Khiva.
* Definitely felt like we're nothing but walking wallets for them, when extending the stay they raised the price for a night above average, however after we left the manager changed our reservation, inserting a much lower price, probably to avoid some fees. When we asked how to get to the train station they offered a ride, but ended up charging 5 euros for a 2km trip which is rather much compared to all the other taxi rides we had during the trip.
