Located in Washington Island, this lovely cottage for $210 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Cottage with 200ft of shorefront secluded on 1.5 acres on the east side of Washington Island with a great view of Hog Island and passing ships. Two bedrooms feature Queen size beds in each. One bathroom with tub. Full kitchen featuring gas stove, full size fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Kitchen has table and four chairs. Expansive porch area with lots of windows. Great views from every room of the house! Garage features ping pong table and dart board for rainy days.

We had a wonderful stay! We have young children so having a beach right there was super fun and convenient. Minor inconvenience was water is very strong sulfur smell and lots of sharp corners with our one year old. Worth it for the value and location.

Our stay was amazing! The place was way bigger than I expected and had all the amenities we needed. The only downside was that the property could have used some landscaping and a beach clean up of debris. But hey, the beds were so comfy and the privacy was priceless. I would totally recommend staying here if you prefer waking up to nature sounds instead of traffic. It's pure bliss!

Very relaxing and scenic cabin with beautiful lake front. My husband enjoyed fishing and I enjoyed the view with a drink. We had a bon fire at night with the family.

Beautiful place on the east shore. Very comfortable and cozy. Great, well-stocked kitchen for preparing meals. Beautiful sunrises and coffee on the beach! I'll be back!!

We normally stay with family on the Island, but had to find somewhere else this time. This worked out great- super location, plenty of room, beautiful view, and great place. Would definitely stay here again if family home was full.

We’ve rented this property a few times and always have a wonderful stay. The beds are comfortable, lots of places to sit and read a book or play games with your family. The beach is really beautiful although there was algae so we couldn’t go in the water. Lots of wildlife and we found so many fossils in the rock bed at the end of the beach. We had a small fire on the beach and roasted marshmallows for s’mores which is a family tradition. My advice for new renters is make sure you bring some basic groceries- we like to stop in Egg Harbor on the way. That way if the Island grocery is closed you have some food.

This was our second stay (6 years apart) at this quiet, comfortable lakeside home. Our family loves the private beach access, the amazing screened porch, the variety of wildlife you'll see both while at the house and while out walking or driving around the island. Plenty of comfortable seating for us to watch movies at night and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal when we weren't trying out some of the restaurants on the island. We booked next summer's stay while we were still enjoying this year's visit. Can't wait to return to the Island!

And the beds were the most comfortable in the world. There were so many little details they thought of that I can't begin to list them all. For instance, a nice collection of DVDs and Netflix. We loved eating popcorn and watching movies at night. There were even postcards on the coffee table showing the view from the cottage. I hadn't noticed them, but our granddaughter asked to take on as a keepsake. They are awesome hosts! It was all so secluded, relaxing, and peaceful. The perfect vacation!

The home is in a private location on the beach. It was very quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting in the screen porch in the mornings for coffee, breakfast and a game of cards. We had a wonderful stay!

Nice get away
Wow! Having access to our own private beach during a colder season was wonderful. The house was perfect. The family room was a nice reading room during wet weather. We were able to have a fire in the fire pit almost every night and biked around the island. The place was clean though tub wasn't working. We would definitely stay here again.

The water birds were the highlight of our stay. Egrets, herons, pelicans, gulls, some type black duck. Loved the location and want to come back.

We came here to attend a burial service for our Aunt and Uncle, who both passed away this past winter. We also gave ourselves enough time to explore the island. We had an exceptional experience, and the accommodations were a big reason why it was so good.

Wonderful!
This was our second stay at this lovely cottage and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a gorgeous location. I love waking up and enjoying coffee looking out over the lake. There are only 3 of us, and there is plenty of room (more than we need really) for us all to spread out and relax. Our favorite space is the screened in porch to look out over the lake. We liked having the table in the porch area (that wasn’t there last year) to eat or play board games. The sandy beach area is perfect with 2 firepits to enjoy a campfire and look out over Hog Island. We love Washington Island and am very grateful to have found this lovely place to stay and relax. None of us wanted to leave!

Perfection!
Our second trip to Greg and Kristine’s home did not disappoint! My husband, two children (8 & 11), and I felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. The lakefront property is located nicely on the east side of the island. It is between a home and a public park but is very private. The kitchen has everything you could ever need and it’s so handy to have a washer and dryer available to keep up with the beach towels. The only thing I would suggest would be a lighter comforter (maybe a coverlet) on the two beds during warmer months. I miss going to bed and waking up with the waves of Lake Michigan. We will be back!

Perfect home
This place is wonderful. The pictures online do not do it justice because it is so much more than expected. When you walk in, you immediately feel at home. We really want to stay there again next year.

Late summer getaway
We had a fantastic trip we love staying at this place. It was our second time staying here. This year we went earlier than last year and the weather was wonderful. I brought my stand up board and was able to use it a couple days the water was very calm. The sunrises sunsets everything was just incredible on the island. The house has everything anyone would want including incredible views

Sunrise Camp Fire
We spent 3 nights at this location on Washington Islands East-side Location. It was wonderful. We had camp fires in the morning for sunrise!!! You got to try it. Camp fires in the evening as well. Bring plenty of firewood, you'll need it.
The island doesn't disappoint. Plenty to do and see.
This location was great for 2 couples, but could be 3 couples without much problem. Plenty of room.
Very clean inside, which is always a concern.
Beds are super comfy.
Location is on the Quiet side of the island. Great for walking and wildlife sightings.
Plenty to see and do on the island, but 2 things are can't miss.
