About this house rental
Nestled in Vilano Beach, this lovely house for $527 per night is a great option for your next trip. Open floor plan vaulted 16' ceilings in the great room. ADDITIONAL NEWLY BUILT 2 BEDROOM IN-LAW SUITE detached from the house the house. 600 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 1 bath with full living room, dining and kitchenette with secondary private pergola through the glass garage doors. see pics and message for additional info. House sleeps 10 with the secondary home out back through the courtyard. This open floor plan is great for entertaining and catching up with family and friends. Large fenced in yard with outdoor cooking area and Gazebo with 12 seat real teak table protected from the weather with the metal roof of the pergola. 250' from toes in the sand and waves of the pristine Atlantic ocean. Scrub oak canopy in the back yard offers plenty of shade for the hot summer days. The back yard faces South and the two story home blocks the frigid north winds this area can get in the fall, winter and spring making the back yard up to 15 degrees warmer in the cooler months. That aspect can make or break a trip if weather does not cooperate. Back inside the home you will notice the maple inspired laminate flooring throughout, that compliments the farmhouse dinner table with the "gather" sign calling for all to come, sit, eat, drink and create memories that will last long after your trip to this wonderful beach town and home. This home was just recently the personal home of a local builder/developer that built a new home for their growing family. The 2nd floor has a master bedroom and a 2nd bedroom and flex area overlooking the great room down stairs and a detached master bathroom with Jacuzzi corner tub, walk in shower and separate toilet room for both upstairs bedrooms. 3rd bedroom is downstairs off the great room with a full bath across the hall. There is a bonus sun room off the kitchen that is a great sitting room, play room or can be a 4th room for the 7th and 8th guests by utilizing the trundle bed couch and closing the French doors with full privacy blinds in the doors and pull down shades on the windows for full privacy. Large open fully equipped kitchen. The home is approx 50' to a county beach access that leads to the sand and rippling Atlantic ocean. 3 blocks west to the picturesque sunsets over the intracoastal waterway with all it has to offer with fishing, SUP'n, kayaking or simply a bottle of wine or a beer with family and friends. This home is self managed by us, the original designer, builder and habit-ants of the house since it was built 4 years ago. We have 2 others within 5 blocks of this home and are committed to maintaining these homes at the very highest level for our guests. This is a quiet street and we ask that a whisper volume only outside after 10pm. 4 cars maximum at the main house with additional parking at the guest house driveway one block south around bac.

We enjoyed time in this comfortable and well-equipped home during our son's wedding weekend. Beautiful inside and out with plenty of space to get comfortable, flexible bedroom options, and a heated pool for relaxing (even in January). The host was super responsive and the home lived up to the photos. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the St. Augustine area!

We’ve stayed at many Vrbo & air B&B houses & this was one of the BEST. Spotless, all the necessities thoughtfully provided (soap, detergent, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, even a baby gate for the stairs & a safety net around the pool…) Our group was me, my husband, our 20’s daughters, 2 year old grandson, & my in-laws including my wheelchair-bound father in law.Everything was perfect for every age group. The pool was great & my grandson loved the beach toys. The decor was beautiful, the bedrooms were so comfortable, the bathrooms were luxurious…. We never got to use the guesthouse but if we had had one more couple that would have been perfect. We only had a few days in St Augustine this time but, as it’s one of our favorite getaways, we hope to stay here next time we come down!

Such a a great mini vacation and celebration of my 50th birthday. Comfortable beds and linens. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. The walk to the beach was delightful, although if bringing a lot of gear I would suggest driving to a public parking spot as it could get tiresome for some people. Great pool and although we didn’t cook much there were plenty of pots and pans and spices to whip up some meals. Kitchen was fully stocked. The cottage out back was a nice respite from the main house. We all had a great time and felt very much at home away from home. The host Jodi was available immediately if I had any questions at all. 5 stars. Can’t wait to go back again! Thank you for having us.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The house was beautiful as well as the mother in law suite. We had two families so this was a perfect bonus! The pool and outdoor sitting area was perfect to hang out and barbecue while the kids played in the pool.
I was initially hesitant about being across the street from the beach with kids, but so glad I didn’t let that deter me. The walk through the pathway right by the house was super easy and was not an issue at all.
I can tell that the owners have put thought into the little things as well. All of the extras are noticed and appreciated. Definitely recommend!!

We stayed here for my son's spring break trip (6 of us). I knew from viewing the fabulous reviews online that this home was going to be beautiful but I must say, this property far exceeded my expectations (and I'm pretty picky) lol ! This home provides anything and everything you could ask for. The sheets, linens, towels are so nice and smell so fresh too. The home was extremely clean...actually spotless. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals , the outdoor shed has several nice beach chairs , boogie boards , floats, so many beach towels. Basically, we dropped our bags when we arrived and had everything we needed to have an amazing trip ! The beach across the street is just a quick walk away and it's quiet and gorgeous. The pool was always crystal clear and refreshing. I will share this gem of a home with all my friends / family when looking for a trip to FL and I can't wait to come back. Thank you for the top notch hospitality !

Thank you for a wonderful time in this lovely home. It was beautiful and comfortable for four ladies, friends from college (in the '70s), to have a mini reunion. We enjoyed touring St Augustine, time at the beach, a brief side trip to Jacksonville, and hanging out at the house. Coming from winter in Minnesota, Illinois, and Colorado we spent hours in the awesome heated pool. Publix was super handy for picking up a few groceries. We also enjoyed eating out at several restaurants including Beaches, Fish Camp, and Raintree. The owners were very quick to answer our questions. As we are not very techy we could have used a manual on how to use the TV and all the remotes. We had a great time and would love to come back again.

The house was great. We swam in the heated pool in late December. The upstairs bath is amazing. Plenty of room to spread out. Very clean and well decorated. House had everything we needed including extra blankets and kitchen stuff. Owner was very nice. Beach is easy, quick walk.

A lovely home in an excellent location. A very short walk to the beach, wonderful heated pool and a quick drive into St. Augustine. The house is well stocked with paper products, including detergents for washer and dishwasher and bathroom soap. The pool and yard were great for a stay-at-home day. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of room and privacy for four adults. Close to groceries and shopping, we couldn't have asked for a better base location to explore the area.

The house was very comfortable and a short walk across the street to Vilano Beach. We considered a few of their other properties and this property ended up being perfect for us. The house has been updated since these pictures were taken and has a very serene vibe. The kids loved lounging on the comfortable couches after a hot day of exploring St. Augustine. They swam pretty much everyday, since the pool was the perfect temperature. The beds were comfy, the kitchen table was big enough for all of us, and we were able to relax. The distance to downtown St. Augustine was about 10-15 minutes, there is a Publix 5 minutes away, and the beach across the street made the location very convenient while being in a quieter part of town. This house is perfect for families.

We had a wonderful stay in Vilano Beach!
The house is beautiful! It's very nicely decorated, coastal, not overly beachy. Everything we needed was there, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and tools (pots, pans, blender, coffee pot, etc) The owners are very quick to respond to messages and very helpful. There is storage in the backyard with beach items, which we didn't use, but is very nice to have on hand. We especially appreciated the pool! It was just right for us to cool off in, particularly for those in our party who don't appreciate the beach.

We pulled into the cutest, quiet neighborhood to a great little house. The house was clean and adorable. It had all the necessities in the rooms and kitchen.
