About this house rental
A private boardwalk runs from the backyard onto the sand at Porpoise Point, the quiet northern tip of Vilano Beach, and Ocean Sunrise sits right at the start of it, directly on the ocean. The three story home spreads 2,900 square feet across a layout built for families and groups who want everyone under one roof with room to breathe.
The open living and dining areas connect to a large oceanfront deck, so the water stays in view from morning coffee through dinner. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances and granite counters, with bar seating for five and a dining table that seats eight. Five bedrooms and three full baths sleep up to twelve. On the top floor, the primary bedroom has a king bed, its own bathroom, and a private terrace at the front of the house, with an adjoining loft that holds a gaming table and a queen sleeper sofa above the living room. The middle floor has two queen bedrooms beside a full bath. The ground floor has a king bedroom and a second room with two twin beds, sharing a nearby bath.
Day to day comforts are covered: central air and heat, Wi-Fi, television, a washer and dryer, linens and towels, and an iron. Parking is easy with a driveway and an attached garage. The home is pet friendly for an additional pet fee, so the dog can come along.
Porpoise Point is one of the more distinctive corners of Vilano Beach, good for swimming, surfing, and fishing, with a calmer inlet beach a short walk away and long views back toward the historic city. Vilano Road keeps a grocery store, a surf shop, and a handful of restaurants close by, and the Vilano Fishing Pier is a local favorite for sunsets. Downtown St. Augustine, with the Castillo de San Marcos and St. George Street, is just over the bridge.

This house is in the perfect location with the beach steps away. Also the neighborhood is very quiet. I really enjoyed the our stay here!

House was in a great location right on beach and close to shopping. House was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and serving pieces. But house itself needs maintenance, upkeep ant the least but could use updating as well. Lights in kitchen are not working. We checked breaker then notified the girl putting trash can out. No one showed before we left. Piece of art on wall in stairwell when we arrived was so warped we couldn’t walk by without knocking it off the wall. So we removed it from the wall and put it in the garage. TV in living room is going out. The screen is dark and very blue. My techie sons tried to fix but said TV problem. When we asked property management prior to arrival if there was a grill, manager did not know and said only if someone left one. That’s something they should know. And if things are working properly. So we brought a small one, but there were two large Weber grills and a gas grill (not sure if gas grill works). Beach chairs were falling apart and should be replaced. When we check out we’re supposed to start the towels and the remaining dishes, but management does not provide any laundry soap or dishwasher soap. Luckily we brought some with us. Door to furnace has a vent that is very dirty. We rent vacation homes every year and compared to others in this price point this one is in rough shape and needs some TLC. Love St Augustine though and plan to go back some time!

We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and clean. It’s right on the beach and had everything we could need. I highly recommend this place and would stay there again. It’s a short drive into St Augustine where there is plenty of great restaurants and lots to do. We had 5 kids with us and they loved it. It’s been one of the best vacations we’ve had.

Very nice property excellent location. very poor lighting. Kitchen lights were not working. common areas were very dark.very bad communication. nonone replied to our email regarding the major water issue. rented the house for 11 people and we could only bathe using one shower at a time.
