I did choose it because of the location in close proximity to the offices I need to go. The room is comfortable and high quality, super well equipped, with excellent shower and small kitchen.
Getting in and out with app is WEIRD. The need to check-in online before even entering the building is also weird. I have been in self-checkin places, but those somehow kept that balance better. Parking had to paid separately via machine below, the tax had to be paid separately from payment via booking.com.
I was staying on the same floor (8th) which is main/communal floor and the public spaces where full of people eating and hanging out there which made me feel I was entering someone's house..

The single studio made efficient use of the space with a neat sliding bookcase that expanded the size of the kitchenette and sleeping area. The appliances worked as advertised and had the necessary supplies to use them, and the larger common kitchen stocked basic cooking staples (e.g., oil, salt, etc.). Furthermore, the common area was very attractive and the kids loved the pool table and reading nooks. While plain, the terrace had nice view of the Alps and was comfortable in the evening. The hotel is located above a Coop Supermarket, which is extremely convenient for travelers on a budget. It's also right next to a train station, so getting anywhere in the city is very easy. Despite the proximity to the train station, the room wasn't noisy.
The bathrooms in our single studio was located in the entrance. It had clear glass doors, a large mirror hanging across from it, and the shower was also enclosed in clear glass. While there was a curtain separating it from the main living space, anyone who entered the room got a clear view of whomever was using the facilities. A privacy window film on the outside of the bathroom door could mitigate the situation.

The location was ideally located next to public transportation into the city in less than 5 minutes or to the main train station to go elsewhere. The Co-op shop located in the same building had a good selection of items to take to the kitchenette or for snacking and was incredibly convenient (not open on Sundays though!). It was easy to park our car too.
As for the room, the kitchenette had everything we needed to get started - cups, glasses, dishes, fridge, dishwasher, microwave. The bed was comfortable and the shower was large with good water pressure. The small crossbow game was a fun touch and made us laugh.
We especially liked the common areas on the top floor and wished we discovered them earlier in our trip. On our last night it was a brilliant place for our group to gather and play cards and chat. It was nicely decorated for the holidays making us feel more like we were in a living room together than a "lobby" feel.
The only real suggesstion we have is that the rooms really need 2 chairs so that 2 people can eat at the table if they use the kitchen. Otherwise someone has to sit on the bed to eat.
