Convenient and fun place to stay and walkable to Bern old town.

Very close to old town Bern. Super nice owners and staff.

It’s old but quaint but that adds to the charm.

Exceptional

Location was perfect for sightseeing The Room was clean and spacious breakfast was delicious and it was staffed by the nicest people you could ever meet.The shared bathroom was clean and never a problem.

Everything was perfect it's am older hotel and my only worry was the creaking floor as I did not want to disturb other people but as said it's to be expected in older buildings

Superb and recommended

The location was good and walkable distance to bus stop, room was good enough for 4. staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was in 2nd floor, No lift , but staff was kind enough to bring the bag to room. Highly recommended

The hotel workers were really kind and helpful. breakfast was nice and vegan-friendly.

Our bed mattress was so soft, uncomfortable, also under bad was dirty. I saw it when my baby has dropped her toy.

Perfect hotel next to old city and park

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, perfect location next to altstadt and Aare river, rosengarten part is next to the hotel with fascinating sunsets. Various breakfast options. Clean shared bathroom. Staying here for the second time. Highly recommended!

Unique and very cosy friendly, don’t miss the opportunity

Absolutely an amazing hotel with a unique location. Staff are the best extremely friendly and helpful but the best thing are the interior decorations. The style is original and very cosy.

Perfect location for old town visiting, city parking is right in front of the door. Overnight is free until 7am. Get coins or software to pay parking.

Perfect location and really great local breakfast

The location is so perfect. It is very easy to find from the train station and the perfect base location to see the city. The breakfast was the best I have ever had, because it was local food and a lovely selection. The room had loads of charm and was a good size.

Sharing a bathroom is always a problem, as it really depends on how clean other people are using it, was a little inconvenient to share with not super tidy people

Excellent central location, iconic window view. Exceptionally kind service provided by the staff. Happy to live in a picturesque traditional old-town house.

Shared bathroom might have been an issue but I never met anyone around. Squeaky floor on the corridor could have been an issue but nobody woke me up. Narrow staircase could have been an issue to carry the luggage but I was offered help from the staff.

The hotels interior is remarkable. Both rooms and common areas are lovely and cozy. The bed is big and comfortable. Good Wi-fi connection. Staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Excellent location by the river. City center is just few minutes away. Big public parking nearby (free at night). I would definitely stay here again!

Great location for my needs. Value budget given big city costs.

Accectic nature of the furnishings in room and lobby. Fantastic location was central to old town and bridges. Sink in room was helpful. The breakfast server was chipper and made my day.

The restaurant had no availability for dinner. No recommendations were given for other options. As it is a very old building, the floors in my bedroom creaked. I should have noted in the description that the hotel had shared bathrooms - but they were clean and I never had to wait. It wasn't clear to me what to do with the floor towel in the shared bathroom - hang it back up? Take it with me after use? Replace it with my own floor towel from my room?

Dreamy weekend in Bern

The hotel is very nicely decorated, the room comfy and the staff outstanding. We had a lovely few days and enjoyed the restaurant cuisine on both nights. We highly recommend the place!
