Great value for money. I would like to thank Ms. Hagi, one of the receptionists, for being so kind and helpful. She helped me with a very particular and special request, and I thank her so much for that!

Very convenient location. Good for price.
I asked a hotel staff about how to ride/pay buses in Hiroshima city. The young lady at the reception appered extremly annoyed by my question and I was told in the quite impolite manner that such questions should be asked at the tourist information. It might too much to expect this kind of service at the reasonable hotel like livemax. But... I wonder if a tourist with such typical question deserves to be treated in such way.

Location takes a little nit of walking, room are cleaned daily water bottle is provided
There was a sign 200yen per night. They charge me 1100 for 3 nights. I asked why 1100 and not 600. Staff said the extra 500 was due to the room located on a higher floor. I didn’t request to be placed on that floor when I booked.

The included breakfast was quite a nice surprise. The onsen facilities for men were spacious, with a beautiful nighttime view looking south over the Hiroshima skyline.
The staff, upon check-in, and for the first two days, were incredibly nice. The shift that took over on day three however, that's a new story... Please see below.
My partner informed me that the women's side of the onsen was a good deal smaller than the men's. They had two shower seats instead of the eight or so in the men's side of things. Which, at a busy hotel, makes for long lines. And long lines are not what you want when you're in the nude and would like a shower and a bath. I suspect the clientele is made up of a lot of male business travellers and so the hotel put most of the effort into the men's side of the onsen. That would have been nice to know upfront. Look, I liked getting to use the nicer men's side, but felt a bit bad that my partner got the short end of the stick in the tiny women's segment of the onsen.
Also, watch out for the shady parking fees. The parking at the hotel has a maximum daily rate that is quite reasonable. What they don't tell you is that once you've used up the daily rate, and continue into a second day, it then charges you the hourly rate in perpetuity instead of giving you a second daily rate. Which meant that, for a three day stay, what should have been a ¥4000 parking charge ended up being ¥15,000. The staff were of no help here, insisting that "it's not their parking lot and they can't help us" despite the parking lot being entirely on their property and featuring their logo right on the sign for the parking lot. Apparently the proper way to get the daily rate is to move your car into a new spot and pay again—which seems insane to me if you intend to stay more than a day. In what other rational hotel would a traveller spending a few nights have to go down to the parking lot and shuffle their car around just to get the normal price for parking and not get robbed by the hotel lot.
