It’s in a beautiful but kinda desolate location. Would be ok if the place had a lot of activities, restaurants etc. But not so in this case.
The location is called the “Spa-tia Comporta but there is no spa. No hot pools, no sauna, no steam - no building like that at all. There is tennis/gym/pickleball but no instructors etc. The food is well prepared and well priced but there is one restaurant and room service. It’s lovely but a complete zero in terms of anything to do other than use the pool or go to the gym. Great staff is fully underutilized. I wanted to be within 30 mins or so of the ocean but to stay in a resort hotel. Not a resort hotel without the resort activities. I didn’t want much- not looking for cooking classes. But the one massage therapist they had was booked 2-3 days in advance .. They don’t even have a back-up. What should have been a great place to chill between heading out for sites ended up being a place we left a day early -nothing to do
