Good location, especially if you like K-Pop - this area is K-Pop central. Nice living space.
We’re not fussy but it could have been cleaner - we had to wash cups before using them. The downstairs bedroom also smells badly of damp (and has a dehumidifier in it) - thankfully we didn’t need to use it as we would not have wanted to stay in there. And there are so many signs telling you what not to do - don’t make noise/move furniture/drink the hand sanitiser (genuinely) etc etc, it made us feel we were causing quite a lot of inconvenience by paying to stay there. We stayed in eight places in Japan and this is the only one we wouldn’t recommend.

Short walk to the centre of Shinjuku, the host was very easy to deal with, accomodation was great for a large group

Location is very good, near Shinjuku and not far from Shibuya. Many places to eat and shop.
Access was a bit confusing with multiple non-identifiable key boxes and 'ours' being difficult to open. Then, the apartment had not been aired out or cooled with airco; brutal feeling. Would be great to turned on airco a little before guests arrive.
The sheets had a strong musty smell, which made us feel somewhat uncomfortable.
(Too)-many signs listing prohibitions and rules. It created an oppressive atmosphere.
Finally, on the day of our departure, we were 20 minutes late checking out (11:20 instead of 11:00). Someone came to the door, rang the bell repeatedly, and asked us, "How many times...?" The departure experience left a bitter taste in our mouths. :-(
