Duncan’s Dunes is a single level, three bedroom, two bath home offering privacy, and only a 1/2 block from the beach. The home has been tastefully re-modeled with designer touches throughout the home. The home has an open spacious floor plan with dining in the kitchen and dining room / living room both. The propane fireplace located in the living room adds to the charm of staying in a beach house located so close to the Sea. The Master Bedroom has it’s own private bath with tub and views of the ocean. Both guest bedrooms have views. Small room off the hallway with bunk beds suitable for children. Large patio is located in front of the home for comfortable sun bathing and the hot tub is protected with glass on three sides. While sitting in the hot tub you will have views of the Pacific Ocean, beach and sand dunes. The home is located on a private street with 4 homes including Duncan’s Dunes. Plenty of parking for vehicles. This Vacation Rental is a “Beach House by the Sea" **We do not allow RV's, campers, boats or trailers to park in the driveway at this vacation rental. **Security camera located on house exterior over garage facing driveway ****We strongly advise our guests to purchase trip insurance for their reservation

Perfect home.....so clean.....so inviting.....comfortable for all five adults and our 5 yr old granddaughter.....the two tables are great....one for meals, one for crafts, work and play! Hot tub was super! Most everything you'd need. only slight concern....Would be nice to have a few extra bath towels!

Fantastic house for three generations…plenty of space for young grandkids, parents, and grandparents. Very well stocked and close walk to the beach. Beautiful sunsets! Will definitely visit again. Thank you!

We stayed here for a weekend with another family of four, and it was perfect for us. It’s less than 10 minutes up to the little general store, and less than five to the beach, so easy to take a quick walk out to the beach whenever you want. We were there in early March, so it was a little chilly and rainy, but inside it was nice and warm. We cooked, played games, and read. The house has a great selection of puzzles and the kitchen is well stocked.

High end property with short walk to Dillon Beach and Pacific Ocean. Views of Pacific Ocean were spectacular. We had 8, people (5 Adults and 3 children).. There was plenty of room to spread out and to gather together for meals, etc. Adults enjoyed the hot tub plus a really short walk to beach. We also appreciated the clear instructions regarding the use and care of the property. Altogether a wonderful experience which we plan to enjoy again.

Great stay. Clean and has everything you need. Lots of extra towels, lots of books, plenty of games to play, very close to the beach. Jacuzzi was clean and easy to use. We didn't bring kids but noticed there were bikes for different ages and toys for toddlers. Check-out procedure was reasonable.

My family and I loved our stay at Duncan’s Dunes. The house was super clean and cozy. My 6-year-old grandson had plenty to do with toys, bike, puzzles, Lego’s, and of course the hot tub. Being able to walk to the beach using the wagon was the best! We felt right at home and will return.

We stayed in this house the weekend before Christmas. It was beautifully cleaned and the views were incredible. We had a great first night. During the second night we noticed some ants by my son’s pack and play in the master bedroom. We notified the rental company and they responded promptly, saying they wished we had contacted them sooner, they would have come and used a non chemical spray for us. I had contacted them as soon as we noticed the issue and by that time, the kids were asleep and we really didn’t want anyone spraying in the room we would be sleeping in. When it was time for us to get into bed, there were ants in our bed too. So we relocated everyone, sleeping on the floor in the other rooms and on the sofa. By the time we woke up, there were ants all over the entry way and kitchen. We left messages with the rental company and property manager asking them to call us back to discuss possible compensation. No response. I texted when we were leaving. Because I didn’t want to bother them right before Christmas I waited until after the holiday to email again. We were told we were too late to request any compensation-that needed to be discussed while we were still on the property. I again explained that we didn’t blame them for the ants (they happen) however, it was an inconvenience for us and we called while we were on the property but never heard back. We also had multiple photos of the ants. They again refused, which was disappointing to us. We had been working nonstop and were scheduled to work all through the holiday weeks. This 2 night getaway was our only vacation and we were really hoping to relax. Ended up not being the case, but what was more disappointing was how inflexible the rental company was. They kept saying they responded promptly but never addressed our requests when we first made them and then told us it was too late. It’s a shame because we love Dillon Beach and book many houses there through VRBO, but will not be renting any properties that are managed by this company again.
