Great room, beachfront location, lovely breakfast, huge multiple pools, near speedboat ferry, near walking street
Off season so some renovation works going on (didn’t affect anything just that some areas were out of bounds, some workmen around). Also the bar pricing, the steak restaurant next door is owned by the hotel, but the bar prices are 30% or so cheaper than the hotel pool bar? You would get a lot more business if you lowered the pool bar prices to match, this was quite obvious with the number of empty chairs on the beach at sundown.

Lovely pool and facilities, great bars and restaurant for dinner. Room a v good size.
Breakfast was poor. Generally quite cold and pretty tasteless food. We had far better breakfasts elsewhere in Thailand.
Also, we checked into our room (special occasion) to find a strong sewage smell they tried to mask with spray. We moved to a new room which had the same smell intermittently come back.
Reception staff were reasonably helpful, but not overly concerned with the issue.
