Cleanliness of the rooms and very good position fe the railway station
The very first receptionist when we arrived in the morning was extremely impolite, well compensated by the kindness of his colleagues in the afternoon when we checked in and checked out

The location was an easy walk from the Kyoto central station. The neighborhood is quiet and the hotel is fairly small. The checkin process was easy.
We had a double room with an bed, so it was pretty cramped.

A bit bigger than other hotels in Japan
Clean
Didn’t clean once in the 4 days we were there. We asked them if they could and they said they only clean after 5 days.. they changed our towels when we asked but seemed an effort for them. Also room doesn’t get cold with air con only hot
