The rice porridge offered to guests was original
and exceptional.That they grow the rice as well
and promised to close if they could not was even
more uncompromising than I have encountered.
Booking.com can be proud of this place to stay!
The sliding door for my room and lock could need
some attention (rm 4205) but it was an excellent
spacious zen accommodation in Kyoto for me.

The place was spacious and comfortable. There was also free coffee and a refrigerator available downstairs, which was very convenient.

It was a real travel in time experience. The place smelled like wood, it was clean and there was free water and tea in a fridge for us. Definitely recommend!! There was a huge aquarium 5mins away. 🩵

Even if the beds seemed to firm in the beginning, I slept comfortably in them. I also liked that there was a toilet in our room!
Even if the basics (bed and toilet) were clean, the whole place just needs a real deep clean. There is dust and dirt everywhere and it seems like no one vacuumed under the bed for years. Also we saw a big cockroach in our room.
