Really good location for taking the bus or train. The place was clean, and the reception staff were lovely and very helpful. There were also lots of posters with QR codes that made it easy to find useful information about the city, such as nearby laundromats and other services.
The cleaning staff (I think they were volunteers) in my room were very noisy in the evening. Although quiet hours started at 11:00 pm, they continued making noise, and one night they were even singing in the room at around midnight. I was the only one trying to sleep because I had a train at 7:00 am.

Good location when arriving at Kyoto station late at night. Relatively near the station that is 1 stop to Kyoto station, or you can walk to Kyoto station in approximately 25min.
Nothing. I only stayed just to get some sleep after late night arrival and early check-out to catch the Shinkansen in the morning. It met my expectation to get some sleep.

It was close to the train station. Everything was ok new showers and toilets
The Mattresses I slept on had the springs poking through the bed sticking into my back, I felt 2 other beds and they were the same. I didn’t get much sleep I had to sleep on top of the Duvet. I think the mattress must be 30 years old
