It is a very lovely hostel, with kitchen, common room, great toilet and bath, comfortable beds. The staff is very kind and helpful. And a very convinient location, can't ask for more.

Lots of grocery stores near by. Has kitchen to make your own food. Good spot to see the temple. An do night garden for cherry blossoms. Walking distance to kyoto main station. Also LUUP point 1 street down.

The beds were comfortable and the curtain allow adequate privacy. There were 2 outlets right next your pillow for your personal use.
It only had 2 bathrooms and the room with the beds for the female dorm was very cold even with the heat setting at the max they allow.

Very professional, welcoming staff. Beautiful view of Toji from front window upstairs. Female dorm fine and shower area clean. Convenient toilets and shower area. Nice shared area for eating meals etc.
Do not stay here if you have luggage. Or leave your luggage in a locker at the station and just have what you need for your stay. There are narrow, steep stairs to enter. Security needs improvement.
